SOF registration for Grade I IX

Dear Parents,
EuroSchool is committed to balanced schooling and encourages the students to take part in
various interschool academic competitions. We are proud to announce that our students have
done exceptionally well in all the Olympiads. We had the winners in Zonal as well as
International levels.
Our Student Aaditya Punatar of current Grade 3 scored the 1st International
Rank in the ISKO Olympiad held in 2016-17. He got a prize money of Rs. 50000
+ 1 International Gold Medal + the merit certificate.

Apart from this we had the winners at different levels.

IEO- English Olympiad: 11 Gold Medals, 18 Medals of Excellence, 10 Silver

Medals and 16 Bronze Medals at Zonal and International Levels

NSO - Science Olympiad: 9 Gold Medal, 2 Medals of Excellence , 9 Silver Medals

and 9 bronze medals at Zonal and International levels

IMO Mathematics Olympiad: 9 Gold Medals, 4 Medals of Excellence , 8 Silver

Medals and 12 Bronze Medals at Zonal and International level.

We are pleased to inform you that in accordance with the previous years Olympiads
conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), EuroSchool is again participating in a
similar manner for the benefit of Students from Grades I to IX. Students will be judged
academically at four different levels - within the school, at the city and state level and above
all at an All-India level. The awards provided to the winners of Olympiads being held during
the academic year 2017-18 will be (School level: gold, silver and bronze medals to top 3
rank holders and as follows:
For NCO, NSO & IMO International & State/Zonal toppers (in 20 zones/states) of classes
three to twelve, awards will be provided to 2nd level winners.
For IEO & IGKO and class 1 & 2 winners of NCO, NSO & IMO International & State
topper awards will be provided to 1st level winners.
The students will have the opportunity to participate with proper prior registration for the
following; details of which are given below for your perusal.
 IGKO International General Knowledge Olympiad scheduled on 10th October
2017
IEO - International English Olympiad-scheduled on 6th October 2017
NSO - National Science Olympiad-scheduled on 9th November 2017
IMO - International Mathematical Olympiad-scheduled on 5th December 2017
NCO - National Cyber Olympiad scheduled on 23rd January 2018

The Fee for above exams will be Rs.200/- each. Work books for these exams are
available. The cost of each work book is included in the fees. These external
competitive exams are optional for students. The syllabus, sample papers and other
related details are available at www.sofworld.org

In case your child is interested to take the test, kindly fill in the attached
acknowledgement slip, along with a cheque in favour of EUROSCHOOL - Airoli
and return it to the class teacher, on or before 14th July 2017. Submissions and
registrations after the last date will not be entertained.

Further details in this connection would follow for interested students. Please
mention your wards name, class and division behind the cheque and also fill in all
copies of the acknowledgement slip.
