Sales Representative New Hire Onboarding


1.0 Start Dates:
We encourage new sales hires to start on the first day of the period.
If a new hire must start mid-period they must start the first day of the week
Sales reps cannot start at any time during the final week of the period.

2.0 Pre-start date activities


DOS to confirm the e-fax number for rep with IT and keep e-fax numbers aligned to
territories
DOS to email Brooke Miller with e-fax number, rep name on business card, mobile
number and address to ship cards to
IT will mail the laptop to the new hire the Friday before their start date

3.0 Onboarding

3.1 Day 1 & 2 (DOS live discussion mandatory)


Communicate New Hire to the region (Template on Bionet Manager Resource Center)
Overview communication
o Sales results
o Next 2 weeks timeline
o Email Signature and voicemail requirements
o Register for Memphis experience trip and New Hire Training
Review new Hire Experience Packet is sent
o Download of CRM APP
o Business Cards
o Corporate Cards
o Marketing materials
o Rep Playbook Not final yet
30 Day Expectations (Focus on Call/Selling Activity)
o Top 20 accounts: face to face interaction with the prescribing HCP
o All HA accounts: face to face interaction with the prescribing HCP and Key stake
holder (See CRM OFC Manager/Billing Manager/etc.)
o Enter all office visit
o Setup one appointment every day
o Transfer of the HA Funnel
o Biolearn Expectation
o New Hire Review
o Pre-New Hire Training Product Messaging
30 Day Expectations (Non Selling)
o Review the Rep Standards and Expectations (DoS Play Book)
CRM Overview
3.2 Week 1 Days 3-5

Complete the Exogen fitting youtube video module in Biolearn (to train rep on how to
do a fitting when need arises)
Begin calling on accounts to meet and greet, distribute business cards

3.3 Week 2 Days 1-2

Continue to call on accounts, refer to DOS or assigned team mentor for support on
selling process and when orders are received

3.4 Week 2 Days 3-5 Memphis Experience Trip


New hire will travel to Memphis for new hire experience trip

3.5 Month 1-2


Complete all online biolearn courses
Attend New hire training
1:1 with DOS each week
1:1 with assigned mentor each week
At least one 2 day field ride with DOS in month 1 and month 2 post Memphis
experience trip

3.6. Months 3-6

Month 3: Field Ride with Area Sales trainer, new hire assessment completed by Area
Field Trainer
At least one 2 day ride along with DOS each period
1:1 with assigned rep mentor
