INTRODUCTION

The company was founded on March 6, 1985 and the


headquarter is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Akasha
Internationals reason for being is to bring the worlds best
consumer solutions to the worlds mass.
At the moment PT Akasha Wira International Tbk is engaging in two business segments.
First: BEVERAGE a bottle drinking water, under the brand of Nestle Pure Life and Vica
Royal. The production of these products were started in 2005. Second: BEAUTY CARE
under MAKARIZO brand, the production was commercially commencing in 1998 before the
acquisition in 2010. Akasha International regards the trusts from our consumers very
seriously and works hard every day to retain and strengthen the relationships.

Akasha International is aiming to create and maintain a long-lasting mutually-respectful


relationship with our consumers by delighting them with superior solutions and better value
proposition beyond todays norms. Akasha International doesnt take consumers hard-earned
trusts in our brands as our entitlement; rather the company takes this seriously as
responsibility and promise to be fulfilled every single day. Akasha International believes
through People, System, Technology and Capital is able to craft our vision. As those four we
call as an operational excellent platform. Each platform attempts to achieve world-class
capabilities led by committed and obsessed leaderships supported by state-of-the-art yet
practical technology and purposed-built processes. Akasha International is investing quite
heavily relative to our todays size and needs in scalable core capability platforms in order to
support futures acquisition and growth opportunities.

Akasha International intends to deepen the relationship with Indonesian consumers by


expanding our solution offering within as well as beyond the beverage and beauty care
categories. The company aims to achieve it via a buy-and-build strategy of carefully selected
brands in target sales channels or in target countries. In the past five years, Akasha
International has made one acquisition a year and intends to keep this acquisition pace going
forwards. Currently, the Company employs +2,000 employees across Indonesia.

ACHIEVEMENT
For the fifth consecutive year since 2008, the Company achieved zero accident which
resulted in zero loss time.
In the bottled water business, the Company successfully maintained ISO 22000 certification
for Food Safety Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for Occupational
Health and Safety Management System.
In the cosmetic business, the Company successfully maintained ISO 9001:2008 certification
as a standard for product quality management.

In 2010 PT Akasha Wira International Tbk expanded the business scope to the cosmetics
business by acquiring cosmetic production machineries from PT Damai Sejahtera Mulia, a
company engaging in the production of hair care products. In the last quarter of 2012, the
Company signed an agreement with Procter & Gamble to import, distribute and sell Procter
& Gamble products in the premium professional segment (the products distributed through
hairstylists) under the brands of Wella Professional, System Professional and Clairol
Professional.

The entrance of the Company to imports, distribution and sale of premium hair care products
is expected to increase the overall performance of the Company in the future in the middle of
tight business competition for the cosmetic products in Indonesia nowadays.

PT Akasha Wira International Tbk produce and distribute Nestl Pure Life in Indonesia
under the license and supervision from Nestl Water SA. In October 2011, as an answer to
consumers needs, Akasha International started to produce mineral drinking water using its
own trademarks, Vica Royal

Vica Royal is a brand of mineral drinking water produced by PT Akasha Wira International Tbk. Vica
Royal was commercially produced in October 2011, in a form of gallon (19l). To serve consumer
needs, a new packtype of 240ml cup was launch in May 2013.
Vica Royal comes from a natural water source located at the center of a reserved forest. The
reserved forest protects the water source from being polluted by dangerous environment and
any other contaminations. The water source itself are being treated wisely and periodically
checked and tested by experts, to ensure that its quality and availability sustained and
reserved for future generation.

Vica Royal produced by the company which has complete & highest certification of quality
and standards:

International Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard.

ISO 22000 for food safety management.

OHSAS 18001 for health and safety management system.

Nestl Pure Life is the worlds most popular mineral drinking water. Served in more than
40 countries around the globe, under the license and supervision from Nestl Water SA, PT
Akasha Wira International Tbk started to produce and distribute Nestl Pure Life for
Indonesian market in 2005 in order to meet the needs for a safe and healthy mineral drinking
water with a great taste

As a company with vision to always provide the best consumers solutions to the worlds
mass, PT Akasha Wira International, Tbk welcomed the year 2017 by holding an internal
event dedicated to improving the quality of its employees. This event prepared all employees
from both Beverage and Beauty Care business units in order to be ready to engage in the
business battlefield over the period of 2017 2020.

Riding on the concept Faster, Cheaper, Greater, PT Akasha Wira International, Tbk
aimed to build a strong bond between its employees and also inculcate a good spirit
throughout the company. The event was filled with joy and fiery passion from all the
participants who got to enjoy the beauty of Camp Hulu Cai in Tapos, Bogor where the event
was held from January 10th to 13th, 2017.

Based on the purposes and activities, the event was divided into 3 parts.
Employee Gathering 2017

Opening the event was a warm gathering that


connected all the employees of PT Akasha Wira International, Tbk from all business units
including those who were based in the head office. In order to create a sense of closeness and
solidarity, this particular event highlighted the fun and team work aspects as the core of
all activities. Starting the day, the participants were divided into groups that had to compete
with one another in order to be the best out of the best. The groups had to face the prepared
challenges with confidence and Faster, Cheaper, and Greater spirit. Fun ambience
continued to enliven the first day of the event with music performance, door prize, and best
team performance announcement became the closing acts.

Leadership Camp 2017

In the Leadership Camp 2017, which was held right after the Employee Gathering was
completed, the participants were once again divided into different groups and had to work
together as a team until the end of January 11th,2017. In addition to the sense of team work
that had been introduced to during the first part, some other good conducts were also
embedded such as good quality of work and discipline, enriched with an introduction to the
concept of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey to create individuals
who are able to implement effective planning on both work and life.
National Sales Conference 2017

The companys first National Sales Conference in 2017 became the last part that concluded
the whole event. Running for two days, the conference was packed with business plan
presentations and discussions across divisions. The participants also engaged in training,
socialization, and workshops which revolved around target planning to increase market share.

At the end of the conference, the 4 days and 3 nights event was finally closed by Hanjaya
Limanto, Ari Wisnubroto, and Wihadjo Hadiseputro from the Board of Directors of PT
Akasha Wira International, Tbk, with hope that the event could light up the fire in the heart of
the employees and also the company, resulting in increased work performance in both
Beverages and Beauty Care business units. It is also the hope of every element of the
company that such spirit will lead to big contribution for the sake of companys greater
business performance, especially during the period of 2017-2020.
