2. Selecting the Nesting Data When loading pattern data from SDD
The following describes the procedure for
loading pattern data from SDD.
One-point Advice:
This operation is not needed next time.
B-3

One-point Advice:
The default when Input Quantity is not
selected is "1".
One-point Advice:
Checkboxes are provided for each part.
Parts whose checkbox is selected are
nested.
To perform nesting divided over several
operations, deselect these checkboxes.

One-point Advice:
Normally, pattern data is used. However,
when using the Assignment Data above,
perform assignment beforehand by this
software, right-click on the Nesting Results
Window, select Save SY5 in Sheet and
save the assignment data to SDD.
Quantity
When the number of parts is set between 15
to 20, this means that the required number
of parts is 15, and that five extra parts
should be made as the filler parts if there
are empty spaces of materials.
For the Prototype quantity, enter the
quantity to be made as prototypes.

Priority
When Production Schedule at the Nesting
Preference is selected, this priority is
referenced. The smaller the priority number,
the higher the priority becomes. (Default is
"2".)
Group ID
To perform nesting across multiple sheets,
change this group at Nesting. (Default is
"2".)
Rotation
Not Allowed Rotation of parts is not allowed.
Free Rotation of parts is permitted.
(Select Free when specifying
Common Line Cutting or Pair.)
Use Sheets Parts are laid out at 0 to 180
Grain Angle degrees so as to be parallel with
+ - 180 the grain in the X direction of the
Degrees pattern made on the AP100.
Use Sheets Parts are laid out at 0 degrees
Grain so as to be parallel with the
Direction grain in the X direction of the
pattern made on the AP100.
Rotate 90 Parts are placed with the pattern
Degrees rotated 90 degrees.

One-point Advice:
Normally, detailed settings need not be
made. Select this item in the case of sketch
nesting (nesting from materials of the same
size as the part) and special grid processing
(nesting parts in a grid on the entire sheet
with the quantity of parts ignored).
