DEFINITION OF TERMS

1. Mechanization- the process of using agricultural machinery to mechanize the work of

agriculture to increase productivity.

2. Skill- the ability to do something well.

3. Tractor- a powerful motor-driven vehicle with large, heavy treads, used for pulling

farm machinery and other vehicles.

4. Combine harvester- an agricultural machine that reaps, threshes, and cleans a cereal

crop in one operation.

5. Rice transplanter- is a machine specifically designed to aid in transplanting rice

seedlings into paddy fields.

6. Reaper- refers to a piece of farm equipment used to harvest crops, especially grains.

7. Operator- the person who operates equipment or a machine.

8. Safety- the condition of being protected from danger, risks, or injuries.
