Semi-detailed lesson plan on General Psychology

PSY 4Y1-1

I. LESSON OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

1. To differentiate the concepts and principles of personality.

1. To show concern for the welfare of others after learning about the reasons why a

persons personality is the way it is.

2. To apply the lesson in their lives.

II. LESSON CONTENT

A. TOPIC: Personality

B. MATERIALS: Laptop and projector

C. REFERENCE: Psychology manual

III. PROCEDURE

A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITY:

Title: Its your charades (Music and movie)

Activity detail: This activity is to stimulate the class in the lesson. The goal of

this activity is to answer the charades and get many point as much as possible.

Time: 10- 15 minutes

Materials: paper prepared by the facilitators

Procedure:

1. There will be two teams.


2. Each team will have 5 representative

3. There will be 2 rounds for this activity. The first category is music.

4. Each representative will pick a paper that will be provided by the

facilitators.

5. In the paper there will be title of songs that must convey to the

participating team the presentative must hum the sound of the song while l

doing this.

6. Each team have 3 minutes to finish the first round.

7. Each correct answer will be accumulated as 2 points.

8. For the second round, the category will be movie.

9. Each representative will pick a paper that will be provided by the

facilitators.

10. In the paper there will be title of movie that must convey to the

participating team the presentative must act out the movie to their team.

11. Each team have 2 minutes to finished the 2nd round

12. The team that will gather many points at the end of the game will be the

winning team!

1. Divide the class into groups and have them discuss how different

and similar they are from one another.

2. After around 15-20 minutes, stop the discussion and ask a

representative to discuss about their similarities and difference.
