1) Stone made building in Pakistan?

Gawalmandi:-
It is located in Lahore since 18th century but after partition, Gawalmandi was the
first properly developed area outside of the walled city in Lahore. It had already
become a residential community after 1911. Later on it was the Gulberg of its
time.

Kot Diji:-
The ancient site at Kot Diji was the forerunner of the Indus Civilization. The
occupation of this site is attested already at 3300 BCE. Located about 24
kilometers south of Khairpur in the province of Sindh, Pakistan, it is on the east
bank of the Indus opposite Mohenjo-daro. The site is situated at the foot of the
Rohri Hills where a fort (Kot Diji Fort) was built around 1790 by the Talpur
dynasty ruler of Upper Sindh, Mir Suhrab, who reigned from 1783 to 1830 AD.
Tomb Of Jahangir:-
The Tomb of Jahangir is a 17th century mausoleum built for the Mughal
Emperor Jahangir. The mausoleum dates from 1637, and is located in Shahdara
Bagh in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, along the banks of the Ravi River. The site is
famous for its interiors that are extensively embellished with frescoes and
marble, and its exterior that is richly decorated with pietra dura. The tomb, along
with the adjacent Akbari Sarai and the Tomb of Asif Khan.

Makli nercolpis:-
Makli Necropolis is one of the largest funerary sites in the world, spread over an
area of 10 square kilometres near the city of Thatta, in the Pakistani province of
Sindh. The site houses approximately 500,000 to 1 million tombs built over the
course of a 400 year period. Makli Necropolis features several large funerary
monuments belonging to royalty, various Sufi saints, and esteemed scholars.

Badshahi Mosque:-
The Badshahi Mosque is a Mughal era mosque in Lahore, capital of the Pakistani
province of Punjab. The mosque is located west of Lahore Fort along the
outskirts of the Walled City of Lahore. Badshahi Mosque was commissioned by
Emperor Aurangzeb in 1671, with construction of the mosque lasting for two
years until 1673. The mosque is an important example of Mughal architecture,
with an exterior that is decorated with carved red sandstone with marble inlay.

Omar Hayat Mahal:-
Omar Hayat Mahal Library (also spelled as Umer Hayat Mahal Library or known
as Gulzar Manzil)is an early 20th-century wooden architectural wonder of
Chiniot, Pakistan.
Omar Hayat Palace is a five story building which stands in the heart of the city.
Two upper stories were removed in 1993 due to heavy rainfall and storms which
may have affected the adjoining buildings. It is a great tourist attraction for both
local and foreign visitors.
Dehli Gate:-
The Delhi Gate is one of the six remaining gates which were the traditional entry points
into the Walled City of Lahore in Lahore, Pakistan. Delhi Gate and the adjacent Shahi
Hammam were restored in 2015 by the Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan (AKCSP).
The Delhi Gate was built during the Mughal period and is one of the original thirteen
gates of the Inner City, of which only six survive. The gate was named after Delhi since
the gate open east, in the general direction of that city. During the Mughal era, the gate
served as the main gateway to Lahore.

Mohatta Palace:-
The Mohatta Palace Museum is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It was built
in the posh seaside locale of Clifton by Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta, a Hindu
Marwari businessman from modern day Rajasthan in India, in 1927, as his
summer home. The architect of the palace was Agha Ahmed Hussain.However,
Mohatta could enjoy this building for only about two decades before
independence, after which he left Karachi for India.

Emporium mall:-
Emporium Mall is a shopping mall located in Johar Town, Lahore northeast of
Lahore International Expo Centre. The 11-storey mall is spread over 2.7 million
square feet and is home to over 200 stores and a five-star hotel. Opened in 2016,
it is the second largest mall in Pakistan after the Lucky One Mall in Karachi, and
also one of the largest shopping malls of the world by gross leasable area.

Habib Bank plaza:-


Habib Bank Plaza, located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is the head office of Habib
Bank Limited. It was the tallest building in Asia while still under construction
between 1963-68. It was also the tallest building in South Asia until its
completion in 1972. It remained the tallest building in Pakistan for four decades
until the 116m tall MCB Tower was built.
The Habib Bank Plaza remained Pakistan's tallest building for 42 years until MCB
Tower was completed in 2005.
After 2005, MCB's landmark tower became the tallest building of Pakistan with
29 floors and a helipad on top.

Karachi Port Trust building:-


Karachi Port Trust (KPT) is a Pakistani federal government agency that oversees
the operations of the Port of Karachi in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Between 1880
and 1887, the port was administered by the Karachi Harbour Board. The Karachi
Port Trust was then established by the Act IV of 1886, effective from 1 April
1887. The agency is headquartered at the colonial-era Karachi Port Trust Building
from 1916.
Lucky one tower:-
Lucky One is a residential project under construction in Karachi, Pakistan,
comprising eight buildings, each having 28 floors . This will be Hyperstars second
hypermarket in Karachi as one is located in Dolmen Mall Clifton. The mall is to be
built on 3.2 million square feet. The project also includes an eight-screen
multiplex, a fun planet, a bowling alley, a food court as well as dining
restaurants, a ramp for holding fashion shows, a space for music concerts as well
as parking space for 3,000 cars and a captive power plant. The project will
generate employment for 10,000 to 15,000 people.

Agha Khan Hospital building:-


The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) in Karachi, established in 1985, is the
primary teaching site of the Aga Khan Universitys (AKU) Faculty of Health
Sciences. Founded by His Highness the Aga Khan, the hospital provides a broad
range of secondary and tertiary care, including diagnosis of disease and team
management of patient care.

Bahria Icon Tower:-
Bahria Icon Tower is a skyscraper located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in
Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The complex includes a 62-storey and 40-storey mixed-
used buildings, its 62 storey tower is the tallest building in Pakistan. The complex
is based on a four acre plot in the up-scale Clifton area. The complex is owned by
the Bahria Town Group.
The building consists of 10 floors of serviced corporate offices, 40 floors of
serviced apartments, Pakistan's highest located terraced restaurant and South
Asia's first double-decker high speed elevator along with a shopping mall.

Ocean Towers:-
Ocean Tower is a 120-metre-high (393 ft) skyscraper in Karachi. The project has
its own 5-megawatt powerhouse, as compared with the 2 MW- and 1.2 MW-
capacity powerhouses of MCB Tower and the Arif Habib Building respectively,
and it does not rely on KESC for power. The tower uses state-of-the-art
technology for monitoring heat and smoke. It has nine passenger lifts and five
cargo lifts.
Islamabad stock exchange tower:-
The Islamabad Stock Exchange Towers (also known as ISE Towers) are one of the
highrises located at 55, Jinnah Avenue of the Blue Area business district of
Islamabad. The airline Airblue has its head office on the 12th floor. The head
offices of the oil and gas exploration company OMV Pakistan occupies 15th
though 19th floor of the building.

MCB Tower:-
MCB Tower situated in Karachi, Pakistan is the headquarters of MCB Bank
Limited. It is the third tallest building in Pakistan. It is about 116 m (381 ft) tall
and contains 29 floors and 3 basement floors. Construction began in 2000 and
was completed in 2005. It was the tallest building in the country until 2012.
Sheesh Mahal (Lahore Fort):-
The Sheesh Mahal is located within the Shah Burj block in northern-western
corner of Lahore Fort. It was constructed under the reign of Mughal Emperor
Shah Jahan in 1631-32. The ornate white marble pavilion is inlaid with pietra
dura and complex mirror-work of the finest quality. The hall was reserved for
personal use by the imperial family and close aides. It is among the 21
monuments that were built by successive Mughal emperors inside Lahore Fort,
and forms the "jewel in the Forts crown.

Arfa Software Technology Park:-


Arfa Software Technology Park (previously known as Software Technology Park)
is an information technology park in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, built in 2009. It is
home to the Information Technology University.
On 15 January 2012, Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif announced a
name change of Software Technology Park to Arfa Software Technology Park
after World's youngest Microsoft Certified Professional Arfa Karim, who died at
the age of 16.
Lahore Museum:-
The Lahore Museum was originally established in 1865-66 on the site of the hall
or building of the 1864 Punjab Exhibition and later shifted to its present site
located on The Mall, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan in 1894.
The current building of Lahore Museum was designed by the well-known
architect Sir Ganga Ram. The Museum is the biggest museum of the country. A
number of rooms have been under repair for a long time and others still show a
rather old-fashioned and often rudimental display of objects, with Urdu captions
only.

WAPDA House:-
The WAPDA House is a nine-story office building located in Lahore, Pakistan, that
serves as the headquarters of the Water and Power Development Authority
(WAPDA). It is one of several prominent government buildings located at Charing
Cross on Lahore's Mall Road. The building shares views of the Punjab Provincial
Assembly, Islamic Summit Minar, Masonic Lodge, and other key landmarks.
Masjid e Tooba:-

Masjid e Tooba or Tooba Mosque is in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, and is locally


known as the Gol Masjid.
Masjid e Tooba was built in 1969 in Defence Housing Society Karachi. It is just off
main Korangi Road. Masjid e Tooba is often claimed to be the largest single-
dome mosque in the world. It is also major tourist attraction in Karachi. Masjid e
Tooba is built with pure white marble. The dome is 72 meters (236 feet) in
diameter and is balanced on a low surrounding wall with no central pillars.
Masjid e Tooba has a single minaret standing 70 meters high. The mosque is the
18th largest in the world with the central prayer hall having a capacity of 5,000
people.
