Abstract
The practice took place in the Laboratory of Chemistry of the University of the Amazon, Florencia-
Caquet, where they were executed on each one of the procedures established for the development
of the same; the methodology consisted of 5 techniques such as, solubility in water, boiling point
using the bath, formation of carbon and thermal stability by exposing the samples to global warming
(cigarette lighter) and melting point with the help of the fusiometro. The results obtained led to the
first discrepancy between organic and inorganic compounds, since the water solubility of starch was
not possible, whereas the other substances, if they are ionized and homogenates by the solvent, as
well, have better thermal stability, due to the structure that have so often withstand high
temperatures without exhibiting any change, while the organic, carbonization shortly after being
exposed to the flame of the lighter. The inorganic compounds, are minerals that lack the carbon atom,
or is not considered essential for the formation of these substances unlike organic compounds, those
who presented in all its structures, in addition to the great importance that represents because it is
all living matter.
