Who is eligible to apply In order to be considered for admission as a visiting student, the candidate
should:
(i) be enrolled in an undergraduate programme at an instition recognized by
the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan and should have
completed at least one year as a full time student;

(ii) have successfully completed FA/FSc/A’Level/ American High School

Diploma/ International Baccalaureate or an equivalent programme of at
least 12 years of education leading to a certificate;

(iii) Have completed prerequisite course (s) at a level (s) that is comparable to
the LUMS’ standard.

Students are selected for admission after evaluation of the following factors:

a) the number and nature of courses taken;

b) grades obtained;

c) quality of prior institutions attended;

d) submission of a completed application form

Visiting Students can take up to a maximum of thirty four (34) credit hours in the BSc (Honours)
Programme at LUMS in a lifetime and can enroll in a maximum of two regular, consecutive semesters..

Application Form When filling the application form, please type or write clearly. Give your full name
and avoid using initials or abbreviations. If you need more space, use a blank sheet
of paper. Write your full name at the top of each additional sheet.

Academic Records Please list all institutions you have attended, starting from secondary school,
irrespective of the period of attendance and whether or not you completed studies.
All transcripts starting from secondary school should be submitted to the
Admissions Office, LUMS

Application Checklist Before mailing your completed application, please ensure that the following are
enclosed:
 Two copies of a recent colored photograph (one passport size; one 1"x 1" inch size)
 Completed application form;
 Copies of all official transcripts e.g. O’ Levels, A’ Levels, Matric, FSc., FA, ICS,
ICom, High School Diploma, IB or any other degree;
 Latest transcript from the university you are currently enrolled in;
 Bank draft of US $60 or Rs 3,000/- drawn in favour of Lahore University of
Management Sciences or pay online through our website: www.lums.edu.pk. This fee
is non-refundable.

Applications with incomplete documents will not be considered by the Admissions Committee.
Reminders to complete applications will not be sent.
Mailing Instructions All official correspondence with the candidates will be either through University
courier, TCS, or registered mail.
Candidates who wish to e-mail the Application Form should also take a print out of
the Application Form and send it to the LUMS Admissions office, along with all
supporting documents via regular mail or fax (signed copy).
