DESIGN BRIEF / STATEMENT OF INTENT
I am going to create the most realistic 3D interactive art gallery in 6 weeks which will be set in
the War Memorial Hall at Hale School. It will feature pieces of art that I choose, that can be
found around the school to show a hale theme. Virtual reality is becoming more popular to a
wider market everyday and has become a trend in contemporary technology to make their
digital product VR compatible so this project will reflect this by making it compatible with an
Oculus Rift Headset so you can see all the artwork in the hall through a first person digital
perspective. The experience is going to be something that no one has ever seen before by
making a familiar building to all past and present hale students in a VR Game where you can
view artwork from around the school in one place.
INVESTIGATION
Ethnicity: If Christianity is your jam because this Memorial hall is right up your ally with a
hidden photo of the one an only Jesus Christ (fictional character from the bible). Doesnt
discriminate any other religion though so everyone can play
It will be for males and females because they are the only two genders and I will want to
maximise my target audience.
All ages will be able to view this because it wont offend anyone and will be able to be
understood by everyone.
The accessibility of the project will only be available with people who can afford and Oculus
Rift.
My finished product will be successful by making the target audience as wide as possible
however the price of a VR headset is quite expensive so it will only be for the richer people
in society

DEVELOPMENT EVALUATION
Question 1, Hamish Henriques Did you think the game met its
original intentions? Yes, I feel that the whole project was in
parallel to the original intentions, I can see this with the art
being relevant and the whole building looking rather realistic
Question 2, Emmerson Pyrke Did you think that my rating of
8/10 was fair? Yes, I believe that conceding two marks from the
maximum score is fair and bang on the mark. The reason for this
is because the building isnt accurate in scaling enough as the
actual building however it is a stunning project
Question 3, Eason Chung Do you think my game was a success
to a large target audience? Yes, I would say that this project is
appropriate for all ages, gender and ethnicity because it is very
simple and can be seen as a great visual and auditory project to
everyone, especially Linkin Park fans.
