20th March 1940. Now, he is professor Emeritus at the University of Indonesia.
His first poetry collection, Dukamu Abadi in 1969 may be seen as arebirth of Indonesian liryc
poetry. With clear, unadorned language and delicate awareness, his poems were an sharp contrast
to the slogan-riden language of the idiologically polarised Indonesia. In many of his later poems,

Sepat Banang (fish dish from sumbawa)

Ingredients:
4 medium red snspper 1 large red chiliies
I lime juice 2 medium birds peppers
teaspoon salt cup chicken broth
8 jumbo shrimps 1 large eggplant-roasted
3 large macadamia nuts 2medium tomatoes-chopped
3 medium shallots Salt and pepper-to taste
20 leaves basil-chopped
Steps:
1. Marinate the snapper and shrimps in lime juice and salt for at least 2 ours
2. Place nuts, shallots, both chillies and broth in a blender. Blend to a paste.
3. Skin he roasted eggplant and chop into a small pieces
4. Coat the snapper and shrimp in the paste. Remove and set aside. With the remaining paste,
add the eggplant pieces, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
 5. Saute the snapper and shrimp untill done around 4 minutes per side. Heat the eggplant
mixture to a serving temperature.
6. Serve fish over rice, tooped with eggplant mixture and sprinkled with basil

The debate on the relevance of a monarchy will remain a contentious issue between
proponents and opponents.
 On its proponents, monarchy is efficient as it doesnt incur election expenses. There is no
need for an election in this type of goverment. The goverment doesnt need to prepare money for
an election.
Besides, succession is smooth sailing. In a monarchy goverment, sovereignity is passed on to
a successor until he/she dies. This method of turnover of power is more peaceful and less
complicated, compared to the election of president in democracy govement.
Then, monarchies are usually revered by the people under the kings power. With the long history
passed on the reigning monarch, people usually have the respect for their king or queen and it is a
great way to have unity in the nation.
On its opponents, there is only one person or family in controlling the country, leaving
peoples voice. Not all successors are compotent in handling the goverment, but the public is not
given freedom to meddle with making and implementing laws.
Moreover, not all the successors are compotent. If the monarch is a bad person, people have
no way to end his/her wrong doings. If a monarch is oppressive, nothing can be done about it.
In conclution, monarchy as a type of goverment can be appied . however, peoples voice shoul also
be noticed.
