Lesson Outline

INTRODUCING THE LESSON Students will be seated on the mat near the front of

choosing. No more than 4 per station. Its ok if
they dont get to every station.

Station 1: sort shapes
Station 2: locate shapes in magazines and cut
them out and stick them on an A4 page
Station 3: Look at the Robots worksheet -
locating and counting shapes in a picture and
recording them (teacher to sit at this station)
Station 4: tangrams
Station 5: Complete the second shape to look
like the first one

CONCLUDING THE LESSON



Gather back on the mat to for group share on
favourite activity and what they have learned.

Play another I Spy game and observe progress.
