Order of Polynomial
The residual function starts moving towards the zero as we increase the order of
polynomial. The residual function may be initially on one side of the zero line i.e
positive or negative region, then as the degree of trial function increases the line
starts tending towards zero line or Residual = 0
The magnitude of error tends to decrease drastically as we increase the order of trial
function as per the highest order of the DE. As we see here the highest order of DE is
2. For the 0-order and 1-order polynomial function error norm is 18. For the 2-order
polynomial this value is 9 and for 3-order polynomial it is 0.
