Dear Excellencies and honorable audience, Assalom o Aliakum.

Today I am going to deliver a speech on the topic of We Are the Best Nation!
Pakistani nation is the best in the world. Its foundation is based on declaration of the holy
prophet (PBUH) in response to the dissidents offers, . This commandment laid
basis of the two-nation theory in the subcontinent in twentieth century. It became primary
identity and unifying denominator of the Muslim nation in the subcontinent. We are the nation
who got its independence on the date corresponding with the empowering night of Ramadan 27
of the year 1366 of the Islamic calendar.

We are the 6th largest nation of the world with more than 217.7 million people and majority of
which are talented youth. Ours is among the most active youth in the world. We have the 7th
largest and the strongest army in the world. Their expertise has been acknowledged by different
countries and forums. We are the 7th Nuclear Power in the world. We are a nation with the
World's 5th largest Army and one of the strongest armies in the world with capacity of Nuclear
Power DELIVERY MECHANISMS. We are capable of launching nuclear missiles on a short
notice of 10 minutes. The ballistic missile inventory of the Army is important. It comprises
Ghauri III and Shaheen III ; medium range Ghauri I and II and Shaheen II, and short range Hatf
I- B, Abdali, Ghaznavi, Shaheen I and M-11 missiles. Pakistani Air Force and Army officers
train all other Muslim countries today.
We have done marvels all over the in all the walks of life; from games to education to military
defense to international awards. We are a notion with Nobel prizes in Physics, peace and
education struggle. We have won all the titles of the world hockey; world cup, champions
trophy, Asia cup and Olympic Games more than once. We have been world champion in cricket
in 1992, in T20 world cup in 2007 and champions trophy in 2017. We championed squash for
three decades and snooker for the last many years.
We have the World's second Largest Salt Mine, the World's 5th Largest Coal Reserves and the
World's 3rd Largest Gas Reserves. We have the largest irrigation system. We are World's 4th
Largest Cotton Poducer, third largest cotton consumer, second largest importer. We have fourth
largest cotton area. We have World's 5th largest Copper and Gold Reserves. We are the World's
5th largest milk producer, the World's 11th largest wheat producer and the World's 12th largest
rice producer.

We are a nation who enjoys all kind of landscapes and weathers from the majestic mountains of
KPK, Northern Areas, and Azad Kashmir to the lush plains of Punjab to the deserts and beaches
of Sindh and plentiful resources of Balochistan. We have flowing rivers. We have diversity of
colors, shapes, and sizes. We are not monolingual. Majority of our nationals can speak more than
one language from international languages like English and Arabic to national and regional
languages. Our national languages are dominant factors in nation building.

We are a notion with the world known legends like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, The King of Sufi
Music, Mehdi Hassan, the prince of lyrics, Noor Jehan, The Queen of Melody, and
Nazia and Zoheb Hassan, the pioneers of pop music in the subcontinent.
We are custodians of great traditions and culture. We have one of the oldest civilizations of 5000
year known history. It is a mixture of cultures, mainly influenced by Arabs and Persians.
We definitely are a hospitable bunch. Kind, and generous, we go out of the way when
entertaining friends, relatives, and guests. We dont believe in American or Dutch system. When
out with friends or family, no matter how expensive the restaurant is, a friendly fight over whos
going to pay the bill usually erupts.

We are a family oriented nation with extended families. Everyone is either our aunty or uncle,
who is aware of everything about our life. Our childhood is spent with cousins. We participate in
every small or big family function. We grow up realizing the importance of what family truly
means. We grow up taking care of our grandparents, celebrating festive occasions with the whole
family, taking care of younger siblings, sometimes sacrificing our goals for our parents, and
keeping centurys old traditions alive.

We dont consume our life in alienation like the west. We have large family gathering on
weddings and ceremonies. A recent study, ranked Pakistan higher on the happiness index than
most developed countries. This only verifies our feeling that despite facing harsh day to day
issues like terrorism, we are generally happy, smiling people.

We find happiness in the little things life has to offer. Instead of consuming ourselves in work all
the time, we love to socialize, dine out, indulge in delicious foods, spend time with family and

friends, and maintain constant communication with our loved ones no matter which part of the
world we go to.

We are careful about whats happening in the country a lot. We support Pakistan against all odds.
The country and its people have repeatedly defied the odds, stood firm and remain unshaken. We
are proud of being a Pakistani national. We are the best. Can any nation have such diversity and
richness of a national life? We are very proud of our country, and culture.

Dear audience, we have no reason to mix or adapt things from our neighboring or western
countries.

Dear president, the facts I mentioned force me to claim, we are the best nation.
