Agentes reductores (ej. cido ascrbico) que con-
vertirn el hierro frrico a hierro ferroso.
La cantidad de hierro libre dentro de las clulas
o en los fludos del cuerpo es baja.
Los estados de oxidacin de hierro va de -2 a +6: el
ferroso (Fe+2 ) y el frrico (Fe+3) son los ms
biolgicamente relevantes.
El hierro ferroso es fcilmente oxidado por el
oxgeno a la forma frrica.
