Tarot Pathworking - Template for the Major Arcana:

1. Prepare for the Pathworking as described in the Preparation.
2. State your intent:
[Card title], I seek to know in order to serve. Please reveal your
secrets to me, as much as my understanding will allow.
3.Draw the Pentagram before the curtain. If the figure in the curtain
changes or disappears, wait for the image to stabilize and draw
another Pentagram, until the figure remains stable and strong.
4. Step through the curtain into the scene portrayed by the card.
5. If the card portrays a living being, that being is the Guide for this
card. If not, then the Guide shall appear when you call for one, and
shall take the form of a robed and cowled figure dressed in charcoal
grey.
6. You will be standing in a simple, four-sided room with a black altar
in the center, upon which burns a blue-colored lamp. Walk clockwise
around the altar to the doorway opposite, following your Guide.
7. The Guide will part the plain curtain in that doorway. Walk along
the path behind the Guide, paying close attention to any images or
scenes that may occur.
8. The path terminates at a simple, raised platform, upon which is a 3-
D representation of the Hebrew letter associated with this card as
shown in the table at the end of this document.
9. Ask the Guide the following questions to start with:
a. What role does the archetypal force of this card play in your life
at this time?
b. In what way can you learn from this card so that you may better
know in order to serve?
10. In future pathworkings, you may substitute questions of your own
choosing.
11. Thank the Guide, who will lead you back to the curtain and into the
Temple.
12. Before leaving, raise your hand in a gesture of thanks and imagine
the Temple filling with bright light.
13. Go out of the Temple through the card curtain.
14. Close down as described in the Preparation.
