2. In this case the appel lant Shri Naresh Kadyan had asked 9 points of inform i'

in connection with cow protection as well a specific mcldcnt which took
place in Mcwa t

etc. lie has also asked about slaug hter houses in MewaL lie had

application ro the SI'IO-Gaosewa Aayog who, it is learnt, forwa rded
the applic ation to
the O.G.Anirnal llusba ndry & Dairy ing. In fact, only point nos. l &9 which
related to an
incident in which the Animal Husbandry Depar tment to<>k sampl es of
controversial food
stuff have been dealt with by the Animal Husbandry DepartmenL
The rest of the
questions, prima facie. relate to 1-hc Gaoscwa Aayog.

3. It is also seen that the incident that took place rn Mewa~ involved the pollee
depar tment and, in particular, itS agency the Anti Cow Slaugh ter Staff.
The a ppellant
desire d to know the legal position with regard to dus Incident, can be
told only by the
Pollee Department.

4. The Commission obser ves that as per me notices issued , these have
been issued
only to the Anima l Husba ndry Department namely: SPIO-Dcputy
Director Anima l
Husbandry and FAA O.G. Animal Husbandry. This, the Commission believes Is
erroneous, as most of the items in the RTI a pplication deal with the Gaosc
wa Aayog and
me Police OepartmenL These twO publoc autho rities and their SPIOs have not been

coiled.

5. After due discu ssion, the Comm ission gives the follow ing direc tions
