This document provides details for GESDB event number 4738606 (OTA id: 4738605) using GCC D83527GC10 - Java SE 8

Start/Stop Processes
The Java JDK is installed in /usr/java/jdk1.8.0 and configured to be the default java.
Netbeans 8 IDE is installed in /home/oracle/netbeans-8.0, and a desktop shortcut exists to start it.
Glassfish in /home/oracle/glassfish4.
Java Puzzle Ball game jarfile is installed in /home/oracle/game. Desktop shortcut exists to launch the game. History
information from the game is stored in files in /home/oracle/JavaPuzzleBall_SaveData.
The swap space is increased to 8GB via /extraswap entry in /etc/fstab. The tmpfs space is increased to 8GB,
enabled through a change to /etc/fstab and a mount command that is executed on boot from /etc/rc.local.

To reboot your VM, click the Reboot button in the table below. A window will pop up - enter your name and the justification for reboot,
then click OK. The reboot button will only be enabled on working instances. The average time for VM reboot is 3 minutes. Once
clicked, the reboot button will be disabled for 15 minutes.

* CPU information shows the number of processors at average CPU percentage load
** Memory information presents assigned memory in megabytes and its current utilization
*** Network traffic shows amount of data transfer in megabits transmited / received
**** Disk Information presents actual xen virtual block device access writes / reads of blocks

For Security reasons, Please note that the instances will be accessible no sooner than 12 hours PRIOR to the event start date and
time.
For better performance, Please ensure you are in BASH shell when using the Terminal Window.
To reboot your VM, click the Reboot button from the Instances tab. A window will pop up - enter your name and the justification for
reboot, then click OK. The reboot button will only be enabled on working instances. The average time for VM reboot is 3 minutes.
Once clicked, the reboot button will be disabled for 15 minutes.
