we set sail on a beautiful july morning. the idea was to visit some smaall uninhabited islands two
days away sailing .we had rented our yacht for a week .the forecast had predicted blue skies and
light winds , so we didnt prepare ourselve for a tropical storm. It hit on the second day .we were
relaxing in our cabin when the wind started blewing more strongly .the waves rose quickly .the
boat was hit by the storm blowing more strongly. the waves rose quickly m the boat was hit by the
storm .suddenly,a huge wave hit us and we were turned over violently .we held on desperately to the
side luckily ,we were close to an island ,we were close to an island. we swam slowly to safety we
collapsed on the beach exhausted .we had no food and no shelter .we were completely alone
we got a call early that morning .two people were missing .their daughter called us because her
parents hadnt returned from their sailing trip.we knew there had been a tropical storm five days
earlier ,so we decided to fly out to the wreck .they had built a fire. the were waving frantically from
the beach. we saw them because they had stayed close to the wreckage and had signled us. they
were very lucky
