The Spoken Word evaluation :

After reading this , it says that senses are involved
dramatically in it ,in the spoken word ,because in the
written form there are no senses involved e.g when a
person hear a good news he will say hurrahhh!!!

Or it will say yes I did it ..woooooo or if it hurts with the

pain he will say ohhh…noooo…..oweeeyy these kind of
saying this is clearly seen that these words involves the
expressions an the emotions which are conveyed by the
spoken word that’s why it says that spoken word
involves the senses dramatically, it says that spoken
word doesnot afford extension and amplification of
visual power needed for habits of individualism and
society .

Spoken word expresses its word with the senses and did
not allow any extension or requirement of visual aids
because it can accomplish its goal without it , written
word is restricted to urban only while spoken word is
not as it is not a piece to read .Then it tells us about the
language as a technology which have extended itself to
the level on which man can express its feelings then it

talked about the electric technology that also extends

our senses like the spoken word ,then it relates the
electromagnetic with the sound that sound translates it
in to electromagnetic waves that passes it further and
forms linkage thus conveying the purpose .

Similarly our senses and thoughts are translation of our

spoken word which we speak . then it says that
weightlessness that if a person is speechless it has no
weight ,it is weightlessness ,a biological perspective
that has been linked with the spoken word and its very
useful in explaining the concept of spoken words then it
explains some myths as well to explain the concepts .

It also says that in spoken word or in speech we tend to

react to each situation that occurs ,because we react in
tone, gestures and emotions .It gives a good example of
DJ who rotates the disc according to the mood to be
generated either romantic either happy etc by their
senses similarly speech or spoken word generates the
senses and thoughts that are present in our mind .

In summary , it explains the phenomena and the basic

concept and the power of Spoken word in which it
explains the basic characteristics of spoken word by
using the references of philosophers and different
authors .
