Cities 2017 vs. 2211

Goal: The goal of this short project is to get you to creatively think about what
might change, so that when you build the future city you will be able to creatively
imagine the future.

Follow these steps:

1. Choose something that a city needs in 2017 and you think it will still need in
2211. It could be anything including transportation, waste removal, police,
libraries, etc..
2. Find a picture on the internet showing what this would look like in a city in
2017.
3. Write a paragraph explaining what the item is like today and telling why you
think it is that way.
4. Write a paragraph explaining what you think this item will be like in the future
and why it will be like this.
5. Draw a picture showing this item in the future.
