Hugo Dourado, a brazilian inventor, was travelling between Belgium and Netherlands when one of those
huge garages with thousands of bikes caught his attention. He asked himself: Why do people have to leave
their vehicles before they get on the train? And how do they get from the next station to work? Something is
missing in this process. That is when an idea came to him.
Different from a foldable electric bike that can be big, heavy and not very useful when folded, he thought on
something simple, fashionable that could be taken anywhere, whether it be a classroom or even an office.
That is why Hugo started to develop the Movpak, working exclusively, everyday along with his team: the
Engineer Felipe Junquilho, the Creative Director Ivo Machado and the logistic manager Adam Moon. Together
they created the first Backpack and Portable Electric Vehicle. A personal vehicle that can carry all you need
for the day and solve the last mile problem.
The result of this project achieved 412% on its Indiegogo campaign, and built at Foxconn, the worlds largest
electronics manufacturer, its now ready and set to be the best solution for the urban commuter.
Congratulations on acquiring your own Movpak. It can carry everything you need, doubling as a personal
electric vehicle capable of speeds up to 15 mph, and a range of 6 miles per charge.

#MOVPAK IS AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Learning how to ride a Movpak is actually much easier than any other board sports. First of all, Movpak is a
transportation, not a sport. Safety and easiness is a priority here. It has a motor, with brakes, that prevents the
Movpak from sliding when you get on.
30
THE MOVPAK
With three points of balance, you can press your
foot and calf against the rear part of the backpack,
providing you added support, stability and more
balance, as you use your calf to make turns, just
leaning forwards and backwards.

Headlights: With powerful headlights in the front and back, we make sure that you can see whats
