ABSTRACT
Immunization is one of the preventive measures to prevent the disease by
giving immunity to be performed continuously and thorough, and conducted according to standards so as to provide protection of health and break the chain of transmission. Data from the Directorate General of Communicable Disease Control and Environmental Health Department (2005), recorded Hepatitis B immunization coverage in Indonesia, namely: Hepatitis B1 98.3%, 82.2% B2 Hepatitis and Hepatitis B3 at 79.4%. One of the Hepatitis B coverage is still worth coverage below the minimum standard of 80%. This figure should also be anticipated that the minimum standards are expected to be achieved. This study aimed to analyze the influence of predisposing factors (knowledge, attitudes and beliefs), enabling (health services and facilities include: transportation, distance, and cost) and reinforcing (the role of health workers and community leaders support) on maternal in Hepatitis B immunization in infants. This study is an analytical survey by Cross Sectional Study. The population in this study all mothers with babies >6 - 12 months as many as 74 people with a number of sample number as many as 74 people. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis using Chi Square Test Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study showed that the variables that influence the provision of Hepatitis B immunization is attitude (p = 0.01), facilities (p = 0.0001) , the role of health workers (p = 0.0005) and the support of community leaders (p = 0.00). Multiple Linear Regression Test results show ), facilities (p = 0.00) significantly affect the Hepatitis B immunization in infants. Suggested to the Health Center Bagan Batu to socialize and improve their knowledge in terms of public health through health promotion efforts in the form of social support, namely improving the quality of health education and the provision of media sources of health information about the spread of hepatitis B immunization will be able to reach the right target mothers located in the village of Rokan Hilir regencies. The expected further increase the information held so as to increase knowledge about immunization, either through print, electronic, or by following the extension of health.
