Fear Factor was created to provide

teacher, tutors and parents with a sensible easy
to use tool for mathematics. It is an intensive
multiplication instruction program based on my
observation and research on how to improve my
learners skills in multiplying numbers and
finding the factors on a given number using the
different m methods.
This SIM answers the need for a
practical instruction that anyone who wants to
teach the concept of finding the factors can
learn to use with a minimum training.
All the activity pages were carefully
designed to eliminate distraction and to focus
the learners full attention on the work at hand
and so with the packaging to be easy to hand
anywhere the learners go.
Scores of each activity that the learner
earned will be recorded to monitored students
progress and the effectiveness of the SIM.
HOME Fear Factor is a product of our
teacher concern about our academic
performance .In order for us not to be left
behind is the reason why she made this
Strategic Intervention material.
She made this one, thinking that
even though how many sleepless night
She had and for the everyday stress that
she may suffered. I know she will be
happy if she see us made progress using
this tool.
This SIM is very friendly, we
can us it anytime and anywhere so we
can help ourselves mastered the skills
that we have difficulties .Just follow the
instructions carefully and do not afraid to
ask assistance from our teacher , from
me, your friends and our classmates or
even our parents .
What matters most? Is the
learning that you gain using this tool.

These seem so easy, right? We will
review again the following
mathematical concept about Finding
Factors of a number , Prime and
Composite numbers and Finding the
GREATEST COMMON FACTORS.I Know
that the following questions will come
into your mind.
*What is Prime Factorization?
*What are Common Factors?

Prime Factorization is the process of

writing a number as a product of its
prime factor.
Common factors are factors of
common two numbers
HOME

How about these questions please

help me understand ;
*What is the Greatest Common Factor
or GCF of two numbers?
*How do we Find the Greatest
Common Factors of two given
numbers. Can you help me explain to
our classmate about these?

Greatest Common factors or GCF is the

biggest factor common to two numbers.
We find the Greatest Common Factor
(GCF) of 2 numbers by listing method,
prime factorization , and continuous
division

Gosh .its been almost a month
since teacher Mel always
repeating it again and again but
Im sorry classmates , I really
dont understand Please help
me .
Dont you worry my friend I am here to help you
understand everything We will be guided using
the different GUIDE CARDS for the different
topic that you and Venz did not understand . Are
you ready to go with me and our classmates and
VENZ to the journey to the numberland???!!

(FACTORS)

Factors are numbers we can multiply together to get another Click to watch the
number: video
Example: 2 and 3 are factors of 6, because 2 3 = 6.
A number can have MANY factors! Click to watch
Example: What are the factors of 12? another video
3 4 = 12, so 3 and 4 are factors of 12
Also 2 6 = 12 so 2 and 6 are also factors of 12
And 1 12 = 12 so 1 and 12 are factors of 12 as well
So 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12 are all factors of 12

After identifying the factors those

numbers which have two or more factors
like the number 24. are called Composite
numbers
numbers having exactly two factors: one
and itself. Like 7 is a prime number.
