Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Pada Materi Pelajaran Semester I
Siswa Kelas X Dan XI IPA di Seluruh SMA Negeri Kota
Gunungsitoli T.P 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan

matematika dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada materi pelajaran
semester I kelas X dan XI IPA di seluruh SMA Negeri Kota Gunungsitoli T.P
2015/2016.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif metode survey
dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh SMA Negeri Kota Gunungsitoli terdiri
atas 5 sekolah dengan sampel kelas X dan kelas XI IPA yang diunggulkan setiap
sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan matematika dengan
bentuk uraian, tes minat belajar fisika siswa dengan bentuk angket dan tes hasil
belajar fisika dengan bentuk pilihan berganda yang telah dilakukan uji validitas
instrumen.
Dari hasil pengumpulan data, diperoleh nilai rata-rata matematika antara
16.76; 16.76; 22; 23.57; 25.53; 27.6; 33.91; 44.21; 47.4 dan 76.84, minat belajar
fisika dengan kategori baik dengan rata-rata 3 dan hasil belajar fisika 21.67; 22.2;
24.7; 29; 30.23; 33.26; 39.52; 46.11; 75.53; 81.12. Hasil kolerasi antara
kemampuan matematika, minat belajar fisika dan hasil belajar fisika dinyatakan
adanya signifikan dimana rhitung > r table dengan rata-rata kemampuan matematika
41,23 dan 51,69, minat belajar 3 dan hasil belajar fisika 25,87 dan 25,98 untuk
kelas XI IPA dan kelas X . Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa terdapat
pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemampuan matematika, minat belajar fisika
terhadap hasil belajar fisika di seluruh SMA Negeri Kota Gunungsitoli.

The Correlation Between Students Ability in Mathematics and Study Interest

for the Result of Physics In First Semester Class X and XI IPA at all SMA
Negeri Gunungsitoli 2015/2016

This study aims to determine the correlation the correlation between

students ability in mathematics and study interest for the result of physics in first
semester class X and XI IPA at all SMA Negeri Gunungsitoli 2015/2016.
Research desain was descriptive survey method by which the entire study
population all SMA Negeri Gunungsitoli that consists of five schools with a
sample class X and class XI IPA the favourite class each school. The instrument
was used a test of the ability of mathematic with narrative form, the test of study
interest of physics in the form of questionnaires and physics achievement test
with multiple choice form that has tested the validity of the instrument.
After collecting the data, obtained by the average value of mathematics
between 16.76; 16.76; 22; 23:57; 25.53; 27.6; 33.91; 44.21; 47.4 and 76.84, study
interest in learning physics in both categories with an average of 3 and the results
studied physics 21.67; 22.2; 24.7; 29; 30.23; 33.26; 39.52; 46.11; 75.53; 81.12.
From the results of correlation between the students ability in mathematics, study
interest and physics learning outcomes concluded that there was significant where
rtes > r table with average of ability in mathematics 41,23 and 51,69, study interest 3
and the result of physics 25,87 and 25,98 for class XI IPA and class X. The result
of hypothesis state that there was a significant effect between students ability in
mathematics, study interest for the result of physics at all SMA Negeri
Gunungsitoli.
