Day 1 (November 11, 2016)

We arrived in Callungan Elementary School at 1 in the afternoon. We

seated and waited approximately 30 minutes for the teachers to come.
Going inside the school without the permission of the teachers or the
principal is disrespectful so we waited for them. A teacher came and we
greeted her. She asked us if we are also going to observe just like what
the FS students did who went there in the morning and we said yes. She
asked us to follow her and we did. We went to the principals office and
she offered us a seat. She asked some questions to each of us and we
gladly answered them. After this, she said that the principal is out. So I
asked if we can roam around in the school and observe things instead
rather than just seated and do nothing. She said yes. We observed their
board displays and other instructional materials. After this, we decided to
go back in the principals office and we took our seats. We talked about
random things. When the cleaning time came, we helped the pupils by
picking scattered candy wrappers, leaves, etc. After cleaning, we waited
for the teacher. She approached us and said that we can already go home.
Day 2 (November 14, 2016)

After arriving in Callungan Elementary School, we took a seat and

waited just like what we did the other day. While sitting and waiting, we
observed that there are parents entering the school. We anticipated that
the parents will have a meeting. The teacher who accompanied us the
other day asked us to come with her. We went again to the principals
office. The teacher told us to wait for the principal for he is already
present and he is the one to be conducting a meeting with the parents. We
were nervous upon knowing it because we do not know how he is going
to treat us or talk to us and what is his impression towards us. Its our
first time meeting him and we do not know if he will gladly welcome us.
All I can say is that there are many what ifs going on in our minds. After
sitting for minutes, the principal already came and he entered his office.
We greeted him with big smiles. What we are thinking about him werent
true at all. We all thought that hes scary but in real life, hes not. He was
very funny and knows how to mingle with us. After a lot of talks, he
assigned us in different rooms ----- two students per room. My co-FS
student Charlene Gay Raralio and I were assigned in Grade 6 which is
the advisory class of Mrs. Mila Valdez. We went out of the office
together with the principal and he accompanied as in our designated
rooms. We went inside the Grade 6 class and they pupils were all-smiles
when we entered. They happily greeted us. Mrs. Mila Valdez asked us to
introduce ourselves. After introducing, the teacher began her discussions
on verbs. She gave an activity to the pupils after the discussion and that
is to write examples of verbs in their past tense, present tense and past
participle form as many as they can. She provided them a manila paper
and pentel pen. This is where they are going to write their examples.
While the pupils are doing the activity, the teacher left them under our
supervision because she is also going to attend the meeting with the
parents. While the teacher is out, we helped the pupils in their activity by
giving more examples for them to write. After few minutes, we saw that
the parents are heading to our room and we expected they are also going
to have a meeting concerning their children. With this, we went outside
the classroom. The pupils continue their activity outside and we helped
them. When the meeting is done, we went back to the room. The pupils
got their cleaning materials and went outside to clean. Charlene and I
also join them in cleaning. After the cleaning time, we went back again
in the room and prayed. Then, we already went home.
Day 3 (November 15, 2016)

After arriving in Callungan Elementary School at exactly 1:00 pm,

we already proceeded in our designated rooms. We seated for a while
with my co-FS student and waited for Mrs. Mila Valdez. While waiting
for the teacher, we conversed with the pupils present in the classroom.
When Mrs. Valdez already arrived, we greeted her. After few minutes,
the teacher asked us to help in decorating the Christmas tree together
with the other FS students. We spent the time helping the teachers
decorate the Christmas tree. While making the materials to be used in
decorating the Christmas tree, we had some funny conversations with the
FS students. Then after decorating, we proceeded to cleaning. We helped
the pupils cleaned the surrounding. After the cleaning was done, we
already went back to the room and prayed. We said our goodbyes to the
teacher and already went home.
Day 4 (November 16, 2016)

We already proceeded to our designated rooms when we arrived in

Callungan Elementary School. We started a little conversation with the
pupils just like the other days. Mrs. Valdez already arrived and as usual,
we greeted her. This day, she taught the Grade 5 pupils while the
preschool teacher taught the Grade 6 pupils. With this, they needed to
exchange classrooms. The Grade 5 pupils occupied the Grade 6
classroom while the Grade 6 pupils went to the preschool classroom. It
was too late when we found out that the Grade 6 pupils already entered
the class of Mrs. Claveline Tabije (the preschool teacher). And we
thought it was very rude to enter her class late. We felt ashamed after we
realized what we did. Because of this, we were left with no choice but to
join Charie and Jenina in handling the fourth grade class instead of
standing outside and doing nothing. When we entered the Grade 4
classroom, the pupils happily greeted us. They had big smiles on their
faces and they were very happy when they approached us. After few
minutes, Mrs. Josefina Pio (the Grade 4 class adviser) entered the class
and we greeted her. She asked me to teach about lines namely, parallel
lines, intersecting lines, and the perpendicular lines because she is going
to attend a meeting regarding the boy scouts. When she already went out,
I proceeded in teaching the lesson. Honestly, it was hard to teach them
because they were naughty especially the boys but nonetheless, I was
able to deliver and finish the lesson very well. I think that half of the
class understood it for they were participating during the discussion.
Recess time came and the pupils took their snacks including us. After
this, we went outside to clean as usual and after cleaning, we prayed and
said our goodbyes to the teacher and pupils for this was our last day.
