Cooperative Profile
No. 9520 at the Cooperative Development Authority. It is a seven year operational institution
with a 15 founding members who shared P 1,000.00 each for their share capital to start the
business. On 2010, it was originally known as Nutriwealth Producers Cooperative and it was
fully registered at the year 2011. In the year 2013, they amended it to the CDA and were known
as the Nutriwealth Multi-Purpose Cooperative. And it is known as one of the fastest growing
cooperative here in the Philippines. It focuses on manufacturing products and provides other
services and projects to its members. It also centered on providing its members a savings and
investments program. Nutriwealth main revenue flows from the marketing of the products by the
members, from the services provided by the cooperative as well as with the different projects that
are developed and implemented by the members. Otherwise, theyve decided to implement a
laundry shop that is originated from their business which is Aqualine (water refilling station). A
water refilling station may be viable in the location however a lot of competitors are already
operating inside the community so the Nutriwealth Cooperative though a different business
where in the target audience could focus their attention into and the excess water of Aqualine
will use; and that is a laundry shop. This kind of business does not require much effort for the

"Nutri-Clean" is the business name given to the laundry shop. It was given by our chosen
cooperative because it is an implemented project that soon will be there another business. It will
provide products and services to the customers. Nutri-Clean laundry shop will be established
as a products and services entity business. It will offer reliable and good services that will satisfy
the customers' need that will cost a lower price value than the competitors. The business concept
Nutri-Clean is typically homogeneous to those other existing Laundry shops in the city. But
certain things will make it stand and that includes its quality services, professionalism of its
personnel towards its customers.
The Nutri-Clean laundry shop will be located in Luvers Resort Residence Inn 149A M.
H. Del Pilar Street Rodriguez, Rizal. They are the one who chose the area. It is a good location
because its accessible to the customers and it has a good proximity to our target market.
V. Management Aspect
Marketing is the lifeblood of every business. It is designed to plan, price, promote and
identifying the needs and wants of our potential customers. The Goals of every business is to
satisfy the consumers. But the success of any business is depend on the market, where we
defined market as individuals, organization or both that has need for products and services in a
given category. This study aims to determine the possible demand and supply of the products and
Laundry Shop is a strong and energetic business, because most of the people are stress
and want some rest so theyve decided to take over it on laundry shop that is near to them.
Laundry Shops are easily managed through the use of new technologies to make their work
easier. But, regarding in services, it comprises the use of detergent soaps to be used for the
clothes, the water consumption, space to be saved by the customers in hanging their clothes to
dry and the electricity that can saved for ironing them. Generally, this kind of industry is really
seen on the go for the target audience because of convenience and practicability.

Luvers Resort which our Laundry shop will implemented. The projected demand is the
estimated kilo of clothes per week of that needs to be catered by our services.

The table 2 shows the number of registered Laundry Shops in the province of Rizal from
year 2015-2017. From year 2015 to 2016, there was a 12.5% increase to the total number of
laundry shops. Then from year 2016 to 2017 (as of September) there was a 33.33% increase
added. The rate was derived by finding the quotient, by dividing the difference between two

Laundry business is expected to have a more sales since the business is in demand in the
market. Especially in the highly urbanized areas and since the location of our business were
populated and it is more convenient to people we assume that well get more consumers.

The Table 6 shows the estimated kilogram of laundry per week, the rate per kilo, and also
how many sales per year. At the table, the year 2018 the projected sale for the first year of the
laundry shop. As you can see the changes on the consecutive years the projected sales increases
at 1.3% and 1.5% it may cause in Cost-Push Inflation which is caused when laundry shop costs
of production go up. When this happens, they need to increase prices to maintain their profit
margins. Increased costs can include things such as wages, taxes, or increased costs of natural
resources or imports. For us, to increase sales we maintain brand and price integrity. Laundry
Shop sometimes experience fluctuating revenue because they routinely offer price discounts or
use inconsistent pricing strategies. When you effectively build a strong cooperative brand
reputation, you can leverage that strength to convey value in your promotional messaging.
Steady, consistent branding and consistent pricing helps you get maximum revenue on the sale of

Our observation with our competitors, their prices are quite too high that is why
we used leadership cost. We came up with the following price which in not too high for clients

Location is one of the factors that help every business venture. The proper location must
be chosen so you can reach your target customers. In the case of Nutri Clean (Laundry Shop), a
location where there is more potential customer and have household area around it where the

TECHNICAL ASPECT
This chapter provides information that includes the schedules of office hours, licences
and taxes, operating procedures and processes that are essential to the overall operation of the
business, proposed equipment, machineries and supplies together with their descriptions and
specifications.

Operating Procedure
The above chart shows the laundry process. Each process is explained as below:
1. Tagging (3minutes)- the clothes are firstly tagged with a specific number, mentioned in
the invoice given to customers. This procedure is used for identification of clothes once

LABOR REQUIREMENTS
The cooperative will assign the labor of one (1) Cashier which will be responsible in
receiving laundry items from the customers. Must be responsible in checking the customers'
laundry items before forwarding to the operations and process it. Must be responsible in
recording the sales transaction in Service Invoice. Must be responsible in handling cash. The
cashier also is responsible to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face.

In our operation, we have two washing machines. The one washing machine is intended to use in
our daily operation and the other one is using in case of having difficulties in so the customers
are availing our services. We have two dryer in order to fasten the service of our operation and
also like in washing machine, we are intended to use the other one in case of emergency. We
have one flat iron because we have one washier who do the flat ironing of the clothes. One cash
register to fasten the operation and it needs to not wait too long of the customers and it just one
because we just one operating line. We purchase just one computer for input data information
purpose and to lessen the hassle time in manual process in recording and computing data. We
have 10 ball pens and 12 pencils to use for writing the data of the customers and we purchase 10
ballpens because we might have many customers. We purchase 40 stationery is need for the
writing on the data information of the customers and we purchase as much of 40 pcs. In case, we
might have many customers. We purchase 80 pcs. of tapes for taping the plastic clothes and other
things and we buy as much 80 pcs. because we estimated that so many tapes we needed in
packaging those clothes. We purchase stapler to put together the stationery data and other
documents we need to keep together. One tape dispenser for lessen the hassle in cutting the tape.
We purchase 3 set maker pens and 10 white board pens for writing purposes and we buy as much
as that because we expect that the need of our operation. We purchase 1 table and 10 chairs for
the assistant and waiting purposes for the customers. And also the Nutri-Clean Laundry will hire
2 workers to manage our shop which the amount of their salary are based on Provincial Rate of
Rizal. There will be a six working days and the rest time is on Wednesday.
