FORM H- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Provide any additional information that would further clarify your interest, expertise, similar
experience, and/or capabilities relevant to this Service Area.

I have worked for the City of Carmel as a Biological/Ecological Consultant since 2015,
primarily on various habitat projects which support the implementation of the Mission
Trail Nature Preserve Master Plan. My general work as a sole proprietor of my
professional consulting business spans the entire range of natural plant communities
in unincorporated areas and all municipalities throughout Monterey County.

I have completed biological assessments, restoration plans, mitigation and monitoring

plans, erosion control plans, as well as code enforcement resolution documents. I
have worked for the State of California, local branches of Federal agencies, Cities,
non-profit organizations and private individuals throughout the State of California, and
am on the list of vetted Biological Consultants supported by the County of Monterey
Resource Management Agency.

My expertise includes the preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents, erosion

control design and installation of BMP's, garden and park landscape design and
installation, xeriscape design, native plant garden design, as well as irrigation design
and installation. I also conduct wildlife and nesting bird surveys.

My ecological consulting work augments my Lecturer position at California State

University, Monterey Bay, where I teach "Plant Communities of California", a
semester-long course that includes botanical field techniques and plant identification.
In addition, I serve as the President of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the California
Native Plant Society, and am Secretary of the Monterey Pine Forest Watch. I am a co-
author of the book, The Monterey Pine Forest, Coastal California's Living Legacy.
