ABSTRAK

Patient safety merupakan suatu variabel untuk mengukur dan mengevaluasi kualitas
pelayanan keperawatan yang berdampak terhadap pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan
umum penelitin adalah untuk mencari hubungan motivasi dan kinerja perawat
pelaksana dengan penerapan patient safety pemberian obat di ruangan Interne dan
Bedah Rumah Sakit Umum Mayjen HA Thalib.
Desain penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah Deskriptif analitik
dengan Cross Sectional Study .Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 23-25 Agustus di
Ruangan Interne dan Bedah Rumah Sakit Mayjen HA Tahlib Kabupaten Kerinci
Tahun 2017. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat pelaksana diruangan
Interne dan Bedah Rumah Sakit Mayjen HA Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci dengan
jumlah Interne 19 dan Bedah 14 orang perawat, dengan total keselurahan perawat
yang akan menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini sebesar 33 orang perawat.
Pengambilan sampel dengan cara teknik total sampling seluruh populasi menjadi
sampel, dengan variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah Motivasi dan kinerja
perawat pelaksana variable dependen Patient Safety pemberian obat. Seluruh populasi
Pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, data dianalisa menggunakan analisa
univariat dan bivariate dengan distribusi frekuensi.
Berdasarkan hasil analisa statistic dengan uji chi square diperoleh p value 0,000 lebih
kecil dari = 0,05 (p<0,05) artinya Ha1 diteriama. Adanya hubungan motivasi perawat
pelaksana dengan penerapan patient safety pemberian obat dan diperoleh p value
0,001 lebih kecil dari a=0,05 (p<0,05) artinya Ha2 diteriama. Adanya hubungan
antara kinerja perawat pelaksana dengan penerapan patient safety pemberian obat di
Ruangan Interne dan Bedah Rumah Sakit Mayjen HA Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci
Tahun 2017.
Kesimpulan penelitian in iadalah terdapat hubungan motivasi dan kinerja perawat
pelaksana dengan penerapan patient safety pemberian obat di ruangan Interne dan
Bedah Rumah Sakit Mayjen HA Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci Tahun 2017.

ABSTRACT
Patient safety is a variable to measure and evaluate the quality of nursing service that
impact on health services. The general aim of the research is to find the relationship
of motivation and performance of nurses implementer with the application of patient
safety in giving medicine in Internal room and Surgery Room Mayjen HA Thalib
Hospital.
The research design used in this paper was an analytical descriptive with cross-
sectional study. The study was conducted on 23-25 August in Internal Room and
Surgery Room in RSU Mayjen HA Tahlib Kerinci Regency in 2017. The population
in this study were all nurses in the field of internal and surgery room in RSU Mayjen
HA Thalib Kerinci Regency with number of nurses in internal room were 19 and
surgery room were 14, with total nurse's outreach that will be the population in this
research were 33 nurses. Sampling by means of total sampling technique of entire
population became sample, with independent variable in this research was motivation
and performance of nurses implementer of dependent variable of patient safety in
giving medicine. All primary and secondary data collection of population, data were
analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyzes with frequency distribution.
Based on the result of statistical analysis with chi square test obtained p value 0.000
smaller than 0,05 (p<0,05) means Ha1 accepted. The existence of motivation relation
of nurses implementer with patient safety application of in giving medicine and
obtained p value 0,001 smaller than 0,05 (p<0,05) means Ha2 accepted. The existence
of relation between performance of nurses implementer with applying patient safety
in giving medicine in interne room and surgery room RSU Mayjen HA Thalib
Kerinci Regency 2017.

The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship of motivation and

performance of nurse implementer with the application of patient safety in giving
medicine in internal room and surgery room Mayjen HA Thalib Kerinci Regency
2017.
