This book aims to give readers a good foundation in the area of textile engineering
through an in-depth understanding of the principles of physical and mechanical
properties of woven textile structures. It is designed as a textbook for undergradu-
ates in textile engineering and also as a reference book for research. The concepts

gives an abstract of the contents and is concluded, wherever possible, with applica-
tions of these contents in practical situations.
A brief introduction to the history of textiles and textile exports in the world is
given, followed by a focus on raw materials and manufacturing techniques, testing
methods and quality controls and recycling, and a final part about computer
applications in textile world.

30 articles an two books.
