You will write a short report (250-350 words) for this REPORT ONE. You need
to show evidence of academic research, referencing and report writing. You will
complete this worksheet with tasks guiding you through stages of the research

1. You will investigate the subject matter related to education, jobs and
careers.
2. Second, you will focus on topics and ideas related to the readings of
TEST ONE. After reading the texts found in BBLearn for Reading Test
One, you will need to identify key terms/vocabulary from the readings.
You will make a list of at least 15 words.
3. Third, you will decide on your THESIS for the research report. What is
the FOCUS of your research? What is the PURPOSE that you have
for writing about this focus?
4. You will write your Thesis Statement in two to four sentences which you
can include in the introduction of a report. These sentences will guide
YOU (the writer) and also inform the READER what the report will
include.
5. Next you need to use critical thinking to develop some questions you
will answer to guide your search for other sources.
6. With at least 5 questions ready, you now perform some on-line
searching activities. NOTE: you may want to change some of your
questions after you start looking around for sources.
7. When you find a source that is GOOD. You need to explain why it is
