Assisting customers with the returns and exchange of clothing,
electronic goods and general merchandise.
Assisting the customers with inquiries about the store including-
information about store goods (sale price of the general
merchandise, goods on sale, return policy, location of store
items)
Working with a computerised cashier system with a barcode
scanner as well as an eftpos machine.
Multitasking at the service desk by catering to incoming phone
calls while managing the service desk-
Telephone inquiries: be able to assist customers with any
enquiries including whether we sell the items they are

Know the appropriate phone numbers of the store
departments- toys, kitchen, electronic, apparel,

Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate store

Packing and arranging clothing, toys, food and other items in an
appropriate manner
Counting and preparing the register tills with appropriate amount
of cash ready for service
Clearing the register tills of cash at the end of the day by
accurate counting and storing of the cash remaining.
Making sure the checkout and surrounding areas are kept tidy
and items placed in order
Able to work effectively in a team and complete the required
duties on time
