MECHANICAL LOAD LIFTER

ABSTRACT

This project deals with the DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF MECHANICAL

LOAD LIFTER. In this project mechanical method is provided to lift the load. So we can

avoid the hydraulic parts of ordinary wood lifter. For this purpose screw and nut principle

is adopted.

The mechanical load lifter provides good lifting effort by a simple mechanism.

This type of arrangement saves the requirement of piston cylinder, valves fluid pipe and

other hydraulic parts. When the nut rotates in one direction the screw is lifted. When the

screw lifts, the load will also lifts. When the nut rotate in another direction the screw will

regain its original position.
