5. Specific course information

a. brief description of the content of the course (catalog description)

There are three big topics discussed in this course: mathematical modelling of dynamic systems, response systems
analysis and basic control actions. S-Domain judged by Laplace transform is most dominant way to represent the
systems. The systems in this disuccission could be electrical, mechanical, fluid and preasure. If you want to
control a system, you need to know the characteristic of the system. Studied about the characteristic can be done
based on the response system analysis of the model. There are two type of response: transient and steady state.
The last topic can be accomplished if the systems are modelled and their characteristics are determined.
