China has created some important inventions that have had huge impacts on the
world. The Chinese created paper, printing (block and mobile), and Kites.
Paper was invented in 100 BCE.

Chinese created paper, the first printer, and the first kite. These Chinese Inventions
helped shape the world as we know it today
DBQ #3: Greece DBQ
Greece’s geography has a positive and negative affects on the people. A positive affects
on Greece’s people is the sea. A negative aspect of Greece's geography is the dangerous
volcanoes. Greece's climate and landforms both have positive and negative affects on the people
of Greece.
A positive effect on Greece’s people is the sea. In document 1 it says, “They sailed the
Mediterranean, Aegean, and Black Seas to trade their olive oil and wool.” The seas helped them
get money from their trade. Document | states that, “The mountains of Greece were difficult to
cross, therefore, the sea became the Greeks’ highway.” Since the mountains were hard to travel
through the Greeks tured to the sea as an easier way of travel. The sea’s of Greece have a
positive impression on the people of Greece.
A negative aspect of Greece's geography is that it is dangerous. In document 3 it states, “
smack dab in the middle of a very active volcano volcanic, or the Europe tectonic plates meet the
African tectonic plates. Since they were these volcanoes the Greeks always have to be ready for
them. and document 3 it says, “ Santorini Island or Thera, is one of the most picturesque islands
of Greece, the rim of a gigantic sunken volcano. Half is Island half the island with sunken after
volcanic eruption in 1450 BC which destroyed the island civilization. Volcanoes in Greece’s area
are a big threat to their civilizations.
Greece’s climate and landforms have both positive and negative effects on the people of
Greece. In document 1 it says, “Mountains cover most of Greece, and the land is rocky with little
fertile soil.” This means that it would be hard to grow many crops. However in document 4 it
states, “Olives have always grown well in Greece’s hot dry climate.” Olives were a good product
to have because they could trade with them and make many different things. This is both a
positive and negative eflect of Greece’s landforms and climate.
Living in Greece can be enjoyable and very dangerous. Positive things in living there are
the advantages from the seas, and the climate and landforms. Negative things are the volcanoes
and some parts of the climate and landforms. In all Greece has positive and negative geography
effects on their people.
