OUR FEES
Our fees are determined on the basis of hourly rates that reflect complexity and time demand
of a specific project, as well as seniority of lawyers involved. We are flexible in determining
our fees and are open to capped fee or flat fee arrangements, whenever a reliable estimate
can be made. We discuss the fee arrangement in detail after we obtain information on the
project and the clients requirements.

PARTNER PROFILES
Andrej has extensive experience with Corporate & Commercial law, establishment of
companies, joint ventures and other forms of domestic and foreign investments. His
expertise is also in corporate reorganizations, company restructuring and pharmaceutical
law. Before working for Kirm & Perpar, he was an attorney at law and managing partner in
one of the largest law firms in Slovenia. Prior to beginning his career as an attorney, he held a
position of legal counsel to the management board in a large corporation.
In 2011, Andrej has assumed the role of a country correspondent for the legal and regulatory
section of the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) magazine. In October 2011, Andrej
Kirm has been appointed as the president of supervisory board of the British Chamber of
Commerce in Slovenia (BCCS).
Andrej Kirm was ranked by Chambers and Partners as one of the leading individuals for
General Business Law in publications Chambers Global 2012 and 2013, and in the field of
Corporate & Commercial Law in publications Chambers Europe 2012 and 2013.

PARTNER PROFILES
Matej Perpar specializes in corporate and commercial law, advertising law, intellectual
property law, commercial criminal law and law of misdemeanor. Matej has extensive
experience in oering legal advisory to international clients, and is an experienced litigator in
corporate disputes.
Before joining KIRM & PERPAR, he held the position of the head of commercial law
department in one of the Slovenias larger law firms. Before starting career as an attorney he
had worked as a higher judicial adviser at the Supreme State Prosecution Oce of the
Republic of Slovenia.

ADVISOR PROFILES
After graduating with honours from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, Andrej
Grah Whatmough continued his studies at the Faculty of Economics of the University of
Ljubljana as a master's student and at the Slovenian Auditing Institute as a participant in
chartered tax advisor training. He has been working on tax matters his whole career. First he
worked as a tax advisor at a Big 4 accountancy firm (Ernst & Young), first on all taxes and
later specializing in value added tax and customs & excise duties. In search of new
challenges he joined a small local advisory company where as partner and head of the
indirect tax department he was responsible for business development, client relationship
management and ensuring a high quality of work. Today he is partner and director of his own
company Grah in partnerji, which provides specialized advice to both Slovenian and foreign
companies. In addition to this advisory role he also gives lectures in the field of VAT and
regularly publishes papers in professional publications.
