In completing this ecommerce project I have been fortunate in seeking help,

 Abstract

In todays fast-changing business environment, its extremely important to be able

to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. Nowadays, customers
wish to see your business online so that they can instantly access to your products or
services.
Our Interior designing website aims to offer an easy way for customers to find
specific design or designs which match their needs from our range, find out about them
and then select them as per their requirement. The site needs to be fully featured but
minimalist with simple processes. The website must be very pleasing to the eye; we are
trying to build a brand and a brand identity. The concept of the site is to enable customers
to dream about to live into a lifestyle, for the room sets shown to be aspirational and to
enable visitors to look at the various interior designed room sets and have the ability to
choose any/all of the items shown in that shot to create the same look in their own home.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be
studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, php coding, and
relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website for a
customer to fulfil his/hers requirements. This document will discuss each of the
underlying technologies to create and implement an ecommerce website.

 Chapter: 1 Introduction

Introduction:

E-commerce is fast gaining ground as an accepted and used business paradigm.

More and more business houses are implementing web sites providing functionality for
performing commercial transactions over the web. It is reasonable to say that the process
of shopping on the web is becoming common place.

1.1 Objective:

The objective of this project is to develop a general purpose e-commerce store

where interior like home products and designs can be choose from the comfort of home
through the Internet by the customer itself. Our business is to create comfort while
optimizing value within spaces. Thus empowered, the interiors we achieve are at once
elegant and refined, emphasizing substance, scale and light.
However, for implementation purposes, this paper will deal with an online
shopping for interior.

1.2 Scope:

An online store is a virtual store on the Internet where customers can browse the
catalogue and select products of interest, and can customize according to the choice. The
selected items may consider as an ideas. At checkout time, user contact with respective
decorator. At that time, more information will be needed to complete the transaction.
Usually, the customer will be asked to fill details such as his details, contact information,
email-id. An acknowledgement is sent to the user by respective decorator.

For the realization of renovation, rehabilitation or construction work:

Site visits and project definition with the client,

Concept design based on objectives and constraints,
Detailed study including plans, elevations, selection of materials, finishes,
descriptions, etc.
On-site follow up, until handover.

 Chapter: 2 Overall Descriptions

Anyone can view Online Interior shopping portal and available products, but
every user must login by his/her Username and password in order to select appropriate
designs or customize designs. Unregistered members can register by navigating to
registration page. Only Admin will have access to modify roles, by default developer can
only be an Admin. Once user register site, his default role will be User.

2.1 Overview:

The Overview Screen will consist of Menu through which you can access website,
register or login.

2.2 Signup:

New users can sign up here. To get respective decorator, user should register. After sign
up the users input will be stored in the database and he will be directed to home page.
Any new updates about new interior designs will be informed to the user via email.

2.3 Login:

Login page for users, gives respective decorator to users, allows them to customize their
ideas and store them. After you enter the username and password it will first verify in the
database whether the user is an authenticated user or not, if not you will be advised to
register for a new account. In any case, if you forgot your password verification email
will be sent to the users email-id.

The Home Screen will consist of screen were one can browse through the products which
we have on our website.

2.5 Showcase:

Showcase section is nothing but the gallery of the interior project we have successfully
completed and have been achieved positive reviews from our customers. This section
provides the innovative ideas/reference to the customers who are investing in the interiors
for the first time. The showcase gets updated after every successful interior. Also the
registered customers get to know about the new designs through emails.

2.6 Services:

We provide A1 quality services to our customers. In case if any problem arises the
customer is provided with free service. All the requirements of customers are fulfilled by
our company; they arent left with any negative feedback. Each customer is assigned with
their personal interior decorator, who is well aware about his work. The Services
provided to the customers are not limited to some extent; every time the new idea
emerges it gets introduced to the customer.

2.7 Designers:

The Designers Screen will consist of the decorator or designer we provide to client
according to their requirement. We provide the best team in the world. We aspire to
create a beautiful, functional space that is a true reflection of the home owners unique
lifestyles, transforming their home into personalized sanctuaries. We have a design
experience of 15 years in interior providing a world class infrastructure.

2.8 Contact:
Visitors and Registered users can contact website owners or administrators from here. In
case of any queries also they will get the help from our side. If the customers want to
design his home infrastructure according to his need then also he can contact us through
this page.

2.9 Packages:

The Packages Screen will consist of the details about pricing according to users
requirement. Their will be two types of packages basic and pro, in basic he will provided
with the general interior style. While in another package customer will be given a 2D or
3D types of interior style accordingly the user need.

Any member can register and view available designs.

Only registered member can view multiple designs regardless of quantity and
customize them, and get respective designer.
Contact Us page is available to contact designers to place order.
There are three roles available: Visitor, User and Designer.
Visitor can view selected available designs.
User can view multiple designs regardless of quantity.
A Designer has some extra privilege including all privilege of visitor and user.
A Designer can add designs, edit design information and add/remove
design.
A Designer can add user, edit user information and can remove user.
A Designer can select user according to the requirement.

Data Description
This database consists of Users: User and Designer information is added to
database with Unique ID based on their roles.

4.1 Hardware Requirements:

There is no official minimum for the hardware requirements that are needed to

host the Online Interior Designing Website. The hardware specifications will change

under the influence of different factors that should be taken into account. To make the

best estimation of the hardware specifications for the web and database server where

Online Interior Designing Website will be hosted the following questions should be

answered:

High-traffic or low-traffic web shop

Number of visitors per day/month
Maximum number of simultaneous visitors

 Chapter: 4 Conclusion

The Internet has become a major resource in modern business, thus electronic
shopping has gained significance not only from the entrepreneurs but also from the
customers point of view. For the entrepreneur, electronic shopping generates new
business opportunities and for the customer, it makes comparative shopping possible.
As per a survey, most consumers of online stores are impulsive and usually make
a decision to stay on a site within the first few seconds. Website design is like a shop
interior. If the shop looks poor or like hundreds of other shops the customer is most likely
to skip to the other site. Hence we have designed the website to provide the user with
easy navigation, retrieval of data and necessary feedback as much as possible. In this
project, the user is provided with an ecommerce website that can be used to customize
interior ideas and for designers.
This project helps in understanding the creation of an interactive web page and
the technologies used to implement it. The design of the project which includes Data
Model and Process Model illustrates how the database is built with different tables, how
the data is accessed and processed from the tables. The building of the project has given
me a precise knowledge about how PHP is used to develop a website, how it connects to
the database to access the data and how the data and web pages are modified to provide
the user with a shopping cart application.
