1. Design a 2nd order Butterworth active low pass and high pass filter for the given
cutoff frequency. Check the practical frequency response of the same with the
obtained transfer function.
2. Design an active filter which can filter out the 50 Hz power line noise in the
frequency range of 1 to 100 Hz. Illustrate on how to improve the attenuation band in
order to preserve the actual signal from being attenuated.
3. Design a differential amplifier cum filter which can amplify the difference signal in
the range of 100 Hz to 100 KHz by 100 times and filter out rest of the frequencies.
5. Determine the effect on CMRR due to the difference in capacitance and resistance
values of a differential amplifier cum filter.
6. Design an elliptical filter to reject the 50 Hz power line noise effectively from a
composite signal.
7. Write an algorithm for Butterworth low, high and band pass filters for the specified
cut-off frequencies and determine its impulse response.
8. Obtain the frequency spectrum of the given composite signal using FFT technique.
10. Write an algorithm to reject white noise from a given signal using moving average
window technique.
11. Design a 25-tap low pass filter with cutoff frequency 0.5 radians using rectangular
and hamming windows and also its frequency response.
12. Design a FIR low pass and high pass filter for the given cutoff frequency using
hamming window and frequency sampling method.
