Description: You and your group will develop an idea for an environmental project to implement in your city
and present your proposal to a group of judges. The objective of the environmental project is to make your
city greener.

Project type: Group project

Components: 1. Video (70%) + 2. Written reflection (30%) = 100%

1. VIDEO
You and your group will create a video to propose a new environmental project to the city.
Student 1: Investigate the environmental problems affecting your city. What are the causes of these
problems and what are the effects?
Student 2: Investigate what eco-friendly projects are already working in your city. How do they work?
How effective are they?
Student 3: Create a survey to find out what local people in your city think are the major environmental
problems affecting them and what changes they would like to see.
Student 4: Investigate eco-friendly projects that have been implemented in other countries. How do
they work? How effective are they?
