4.2 Maintenance After Shutdown
4.2.1 Shut down equipment according to the normal power-off program of computer
control system before maintenance: cut off the power and plug out the power
supply plug of maintenance equipment.
4.2.2 Ambient temperature, humidity and cleanness of electronic equipment room and
control room should meet the requirement of manufacturers rules.
4.2.3 Pass fuses of fuses and modules of all power supply circuits should meet the
requirement of equipment. If there is any damage, take the record. Exchange the
fuse with the same capacity and type after finding out the causes.
4.2.4 The appearance of computer equipment should be complete and well, no loss,
rusting, deformation and obvious damage.
4.2.5 Check if computer equipment is put in order, every identifying is complete, clear
and correct.
4.2.6 Sweep equipment after cutting off the power of system and equipment.
4.2.7 For the static-free equipment, make the anti-static measures during maintenance
and keep them away from the circuit and the dismantled equipment should be put
on anti-static plate.
4.2.8 Compressed air for purging should be dry, no water, no grease dirt and the
pressure should be maintained around 0.05MPa. Dust collector for cleaning should
have enough power so that it can extract the floating dust in time. Use the special
detergent for equipment cleaning.
4.2.9 The inner parts of all panels should be installed firmly and the screws are
complete. Screws of every wiring terminal board and earthing bus should be tight.
4.2.10 Connecting wires and guide lines among computer equipment should be
connected reliably. Lay and tie up in order and beautifully. Every mark should be
complete and clear.
4.3 Hardware Maintenance in Operation Station and Engineering Work Station
4.3.1 Make sure that the equipment in maintenance is separated with power supply, then
open the shell of box.
4.3.2 Check if there is obvious damage and burn mark on circuit board. Every element
on circuit board should be welded tightly, no falling off. Inner wiring and connecting
wire should be complete. Equipment, board card and connecting element should
be installed tightly and the installed screws are complete.
4.3.3 Clean the inner and outer parts of shell and cooling fans. After that, they should be
clean, no dust, no spot and cooling fans rotate flexibly.
4.3.4 Assemble the shell of box, check if the power supply voltage grade of equipment is
correct.
4.3.5 After power is on and startup, equipment should not have abnormal sound,
peculiar smell and other abnormal conditions. It can be started normally and enters
operation system. There is no wrong information during self-diagnostic process,
every indicating light and display are normal. Cooling fans rotate normally, no jam
and the direction is correct.
4.4 Control Station Maintenance
4.4.1 Unit and the equipment associated with computer control system should be shut
down. Control system is put out of service. Stop the sub-systems which need
maintenance and cut off the power.
4.4.2 Number panels and slots whose modules are needed cleaning, set jumpers and
take comprehensive and correct record.
4.4.3 Clean modules and cooling fans. Check if the appearance is clean, no dust, no
spot, no obvious damage and burn mark, plug-in no rust, contact pin and gold
finger no bending and breaking. Every part of module should be installed tightly;
jumper and contact pin are set correctly. Fuse should be complete, type and
capacity is correct and all module marks should be right and clear.
4.4.4 For the modules with standby battery, check and exchange the standby battery
according to the manufacturers rules. When exchange with the new one, make
sure the loss-of-power time is at allowable range.
4.4.5 After checking the modules and cleaning the panel, frame and slots, install
modules to the corresponding slots according to the number on panel and plug-in
slot correctly and reliably.
4.4.6 When modules are ready, check if the connecting wire of module is in the right
place and fastened. If there is fastening screw or lock, fasten the fastening screw
and close the lock.
4.4.7 Before module is energized, check if the fuse is complete, capacity is correct for
the module with fuse. After it is energized, every indicating light should be correct.
4.5 Computer Control System Maintenance
4.5.1 Routine Maintenance
4.5.1.1 Dont use interphone at the range of 3m of computer control system during
operation.
4.5.1.2 For the equipment which is easy to produce in interferential thing, check if the
circuit wiring is complete and install shield.
4.5.1.3 Take comprehensive record on all faults (including the wrong information and
words), troubleshooting process and the software modification record.
4.5.1.4 Prevent virus from entering computer. Forbid installing other software in
engineering work station, U disc must be the special disc.
4.5.1.5 Make record on fault during routine patrol inspection and arrange troubleshooting
in time according to the relevant rules. I &C designated engineer should check the
patrol inspection record at regular time and verify the troubleshooting.
4.5.1.6 Atmospheric index of electronic equipment room and control room should be
carried out according to the table 1 or the rules made by manufacturer.

4.5.2 Maintain at regular time

Check and test the following items during operation at regular time.
4.5.2.1 Operation station, main controller status, communication interface, communication
net working status, system transferring condition and working condition of main
and standby power supply are normal.
4.5.2.2 Historical data storage equipment should be at activation status, disc and hard disc
should have enough space, otherwise exchange.
4.5.2.3 Check if there is enough space of the hard disk of every operation station and
engineering work station. If it is not enough, check and delete the trash document.
4.5.2.4 Configured computer control system and copy software and database at regular
time.
4.5.2.5 Check and record input and output voltage of every panel at regular time. If the
value is low, find out the causes and troubleshoot.
