POLICY GUIDELINES ON CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT FOR THE K-12 BASIC
EDUCATION PROGRAM
There are two types of assessment:
A. Written Work B. Performance Task C. Quarterly
component component assessment
Long quizzes Skills demonstration Objective test
Unit or long tests Group presentations Performance-based
Essays Oral work Or combination of both
Written reports Multimedia
presentation
Other written reports Research projects
 In IDS the minimum grade needed to pass a specific
learning area is 50%, which is transmuted to 75 in the
report card.
The lowest mark that can appear on the report card is
65% for Quarterly and Final Grades.
