PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
During the summer of 2017, I worked in a nationally renowned gene therapy lab at Emory University assisting in
research, while gathering data working toward cures and more efficient treatment pathways for hemophilia A, hemophilia
B, and acquired hemophilia, as well as sickle cell anemia and leukemia. This experience most notably tuned my skills to
operate within a team and in a professional environment. At age eleven, I began fencing at Nellya Fencers where I have
competed at a national level from the youth division through the collegiate ranks. As a Nellya Fencer, athletes are
expected to mentor younger fencers through summer camps and daily practice. I also volunteered through the Arkady
Burdan Foundation as a fencing coach for students who may lack the opportunity to fence within their communities.
