For where the mind is there is the treasure. Although the bible says nothing about her later life, other sources do preserve some stories about her.
She is the Savior's beloved, possessed of knowledge and teaching superior to that of the public apostolic tradition. A local church there claims to
have her skull and displays it to pilgrims. These four books are among the best and together offer an overview of the Magdalen in history and myth
from a wide variety of perspectives. The Gospel of Mary is not present in the list of apocryphal books of section five of the Decretum Gelasianum.
The dialogues are generally concerned with the idea of the Savior as reminder to human beings of their bond with God and true identity, as well as
the realization of the believer that redemption consists of the return to God and liberty from matter after death. Rather let us be ashamed and put on
the perfect man and acquire him for ourselves as he commanded us, and preach the gospel, not laying down any other rule or other law beyond

gospel, not laying down any other rule or other law beyond what the Savior said. Unfortunately the two extant copies of The Gospel of Mary are
extremely fragmentary. According to one well-known tradition, she went to southern France and lived for thirty years at a place called La Sainte-

nineteenth century somewhere near Akhmim in upper Egypt. There is a gap in the surviving text at this point, but after it resumes, Andrew and
