Welcome ...to the 2017
"Tastes at the Bay". This year the festival
promises to be bigger and better than
ever, with two full days of food, wine and
jazz in the heart of beautiful Nelson Bay.
Port Stephens Council is proud to sponsor
this exciting community event, which gives
residents and visitors alike a real taste of
what we're about here in Port Stephens.
There's truly something for the whole
family, from fresh seafood and bubbles, to
live music and beer tastings, you'll be sure
to get your feet tapping and your taste
buds dancing! Even the kids will be well
looked after, with loads of food and face
painting to keep the little ones happy.
Take your pick of events across the
weekend. Chill with jazz in the park, hop
aboard the Moonshadow Jazz Luncheon
Cruise, or take part in the new Tasters Trail
and sample the wonderful hospitality of
our local businesses.
Whatever you do, make sure to experience
all that the Bay has to offer stroll through
the CBD down to the Marina, take in the
festival atmosphere and savour our local
flavours of beautiful Nelson Bay.

PRECINCT
(Magnus & Stockton Streets)
The Nelson Bay CBD precinct will come alive
with the smells and tastes of local produce,
signature dishes accompanied by locally
produced wines and boutique beers.
Wine tasting tokens can be purchased
- either 5 for $10 or 10 for $20...sample
your selection with a tasting glass for 1
token or purchase by the glass (3 tokens)
or bottle Tickets for the Tasters Trail
are available for purchase from the
information marquees at the festival
Live bands will play a mix of jazz, folk,
blues & funk.
APEX PARK PRECINCT
(Alcohol Free Zone)
Apex Park is all about educational activities with
cooking demonstrations from 9.30am to 4.30pm and
market stalls on both Saturday & Sunday.
Paul Miranda of Hunter Tafe will be whipping up
several of his decadent desserts Try your hand at
shucking Port Stephens oysters with demonstrations
by Mark Hunter.
DALBORA MARINA PRECINCT
(Alcohol Free Zone)
DAlbora Marina will also have live jazz entertainment
across the weekend with a host of childrens activities along
with signature dishes presented by the Marina restaurants.
