AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT (AIIS)

JOB TITLE: Digital marketing coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Global fundraising and engagement

SALARY: Grade 3

JOB PURPOSE:

As part of the Global Supporter Engagement team youll be supporting our campaigns, across multiple digital
channels, to acquire new members and supporters in countries where Amnesty International does not have a
local office predominantly within the MENA, East Asia and Central-American region.

The role will be assisting the digital marketing sub team in implementing paid media acquisition campaigns and
email welcome journeys, across a variety of thematic issues, to acquire new supporters and members across the
globe.

The post will also be responsible for maintaining all digital marketing reporting, social media listening and
research, plus ensuring insight and learning are shared across the wider movement.

AIIS PURPOSE: The IS, which operates from a number of sites around the world, gathers and communicates
accurate and action-oriented human rights information globally. We campaign for meaningful human rights
change; enable effective human rights activism and work to persuade governments and other actors to uphold
universal human rights standards. We provide strategic leadership, support and advice to the AI movement
globally, fostering AIs contribution, presence and public accountability throughout the world.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reporting to: Digital Fundraising Specialist

Other key relationships: Global supporter engagement team, Global digital engagement team.

LOCATION: LONDON

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with the digital marketing officer to implement paid advertising propositions that cost-
efficiently acquire new supporters and members, across various thematic campaigns.
Support the digital marketing officer in creating bespoke campaign email welcome journeys for all new
supporters.

Plan and execute strategies to identify and manage social media influencers in target countries, ensuring
relevant Amnesty campaign content is shared, promoted and tracked with their followers.
Plan and execute user testing on supporter journeys before campaigns go live.
Identify opportunities for social listening research periodically (pre-campaign) conduct social listening
to understand audience segments and improve media planning targeting across target regions and
countries. Analyse and report back on insights and share with colleagues to drive campaign strategies.
Prepare, and write .ppt campaign report presentations for sections and regional offices (e.g. successful
tests, tactics or insights)
Data management e.g. ensure clean data in our payment gateway, and CRM.
Maintain a wider section digital skillshare communication schedule.
Be responsible for analysing and collecting data on the conversion funnel of International Member-
focused campaign actions and membership acquisition user journeys.
Maintain project plans and calendars on forthcoming campaigns.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience using social media and web analysis tools.


Experience with email marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising and other digital engagement
tactics.
Experience in implementing paid Facebook adverts or promoted posts.
Adept in using Excel for reporting, data cleaning and KPI monitoring.
Experience in creating visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for internal and external
stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills and time management.
A desire to learn and progress a career in digital marketing or fundraising.
