Informational Tasks

1- Look more closely at the instructions that the teacher gives while introducing the
learning centers:
If possible, video/pictures or audio record the teacher while she gives
instructions.
Write the sentences of the instructions that the teacher gives.
Fold your arms.
Zip your lips.
All eyes on me.
Raise your hand when you want to talk.
Write your own instructions for one of your own lesson plans.
Listen when someone is speaking.
Raise your hand to speak.
Follow direction quickly.
Always do your best work.

2- Describe the purpose of diagnostic assessment.

A) Identify the diagnostic tests the teacher uses in your TP placement. These might be
check lists, written observations. Photograph blank diagnostics, scan, print and or
upload to your e-portfolio.
B) Look over the diagnostics again and identify which diagnostics are norm referenced,
criterion referenced, comparison of students ability, comparison of student progress.

My MST use a check list of all students names to make tick of the students
who does the activity on the right way and understand the concept of the
lesson, or tick with straight line that mean this child needs to focus more
with them to understand and recognized the lesson.

3- Classroom Management
1. Describe two times when your classroom management was successful. Describe the
situation, learning objective and what the students were doing. Why was your
management successful?

I was having English period and the objective that I explain it is about vowels. I
explain for the students the activity and they should do, then I give them a time
to finish their work and the lesson was successful and all students doing well
and they listen to my instruction which that help me to do all what I plan for it.

2. Describe something you would like to improve about your classroom management
(using routines, giving instructions, dealing with disruptive behavior, managing
groups,) Give suggestions (or talk to your MST or MCT) to improve your classroom
management.

I hope next time and in the future to develop this aspect which is the behavior
management, because if the manage the misbehavior in the classroom that will
help me to do what I plan for it, and save a time which do all the lesson plan on
time. Also, that will help me to focus more to improve the weak aspect that the
student faces.
