EXPLAINING THE DIMENSION OF COMMUNICATION

Communication it gives information for one person to another and it also a group of
people talking with one another. But sometimes when a person talking against with one
another it is called Miscommunication. Miscommunication can result someone crying,
quarreling and feeling hurt.

There are four dimension of communication:

a. Verbal / Non verbal Dimension It is used together to clearly impart the message.
Misunderstanding will happen when words contradict action. This dimension is important of
what is shown or done agrees with what is said. If the listener cant understand what the
speaker said the misunderstanding will occur.

b. Oral / Writter Dimension The written dimension is putting down the words while the oral
dimension is delivering those word.

c. Formal / Informal Dimension (formal dimension: a social gathering that requires formal
dress and manners while informal dimension: is not suited for serious or official speech and
writing.

d. Intentional / Unintentional Dimension In this dimension said that message have a purpose.
Intention occur when people communicate with other. This intention wants each of one to say
something, while intended it is occurs when a listener reacts by saying that the speaker has
been discourteous, dishonest or hurt the listener feelings.

Communication is not about saying the words that comes in your mouth, its about
saying with mind.
