ACTIVITY TITLE : ONE-DAY JOINT GSP and BSP CAMP

IV. RATIONALE :

The Scouting Activity is conducted in school as a preparatory activity for the next level
encampment. As part of Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scout of the Philippines
(GSP) in the Division of Bais, the faculty and staff of Mayor Praxedes P. Villanueva II Memorial
High School together with the students, parents and stakeholders are incessantly honing the
diverse and valuable talent and skills in scouting through various activities. Despite the hectic
schedule of school due to some activities, the one-day school based camp is still initiated in
order to cater the needs of the students not only the erudition in the classrooms four walls but
also scout savvy as they continue to broaden their knowledge and skills towards an endless
frontier.

IV. OBJECTIVES:

1. To widen the students knowledge and skills in scouting activities;


2. To develop awareness on the practical application of survival activity in real life;
3. To encourage students to participate different scouting activities; and
4. To strengthen the brave spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, leadership and service
among the participants.

V. GUIDELINES:

1. No fees shall be collected from the parents.


2. GSP/BSP registration is needed.
3. Parents consent is required.
4. Activity materials are provided.

VII. FUNDING:

The Scouting Activities shall be charged to the school fund.

XI. EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

At the end of the activities, the students, teachers and other stakeholders are expected to:

4. Strengthen the brave spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, leadership and service among the
participants.

XII. MONITORING, FEEDBACK and REPORTING MECHANISM:

A narrative report will be filed at the school and a copy will be submitted to the division
office reflecting the accomplishment, points for improvement and other necessary details that
need to be included in the report.
