CIRCULAR AR/SA/ DATED 07.12.2013
The Special Resitting window is open for students whose complete results were declared as on date. Due to
time constraint the window is opened only for those students who have attended the Oct/Nov 2013
examination in Online mode and their examination will be conducted in Online mode in Jan/Feb 2014 in the
following locations (Other online locations will be progressively added to this list. The same will be
informed through circular. Request you to check the status under your Login regularly). (The Special
Resitting window is not available to the students who have appeared the examination in Offline mode).
The last date for the submission of Re-sitting Application is 12 December 2013. Kindly complete the Resit
entry including Submit to the University before the last date. Kindly note that no extension of date will be
provided and the names of the students will not appear in subsequent batch for re-sitting.

Applicability
This provision is applicable only for those students who appeared and failed in Oct/Nov 13 Examinations
and willing to appear in Jan/Feb 14 Examinations.
1. This re-sitting option is available only to the students who appeared and failed in Project or IA or
University Examination component of a paper held in Oct/Nov 13 Examination.
2. Please check the validity of your Registration before applying for re-sitting. In case the validity period (maximum
duration of the program) is over, please contact Help Desk at smuhelpdesk@smudde.edu.in for further
assistance.
3. The eligible students should apply online as per the instructions provided in Students Manual/ LC
Manual in online portal, http://myzone.smude.edu.in
4. The offline re-sitting forms will not be accepted.
5. Please submit only one re-sitting form, even if the student is appearing for more than one paper of different
semesters as online system does not accept more than one re-sitting form of a student.
6. The students are required to submit the Re-sitting form from the same LC in which they are re-registered in
this Session.
7. Separate payment instrument should be used towards re-sitting form of each student.
8. Please note that there is no provision for improvement by reappearance in the Term End University
Examinations or Internal Assignment once the student is declared as passed.
9. The students are required to refer to the revised SLM, if the same is revised after his/her last
appearance for the examinations in that paper.
10. After course completion, if the student wishes to submit the resitting application from different center
the LC transfer procedure is to be completed first.
CMS Unipay option has been integrated for LC Transfer. With this integration, there is time lag
between date of apply and receipt of MIS from HDFC. Thereafter the University will require some time
to verify the details and approve the request.
It is recommended to make the online payment which will enable us to approve the transfer request
immediately on receipt of MIS.
11. The Learning centers/ Students are requested to verify the results of Oct/Nov 13 Examination first.
The application is to be submitted only for the failed subjects. The change of subjects/ refund is not
allowed if the application is submitted for the passed papers before updating the results for the
Resitting purpose.
Steps
1. Go to home page of the website www.myzone.smude.edu.in
2. Click on Re-registration and Student Services.
3. Select Roll No Search
4. Enter the Roll No.
5. Click on Search button. The Roll No. will be displayed in the grid
6. Select the record and click on Re-sitting button
7. The student details will be displayed along with the Re-sitting Subject details. Select the subjects and click
Verified & Confirmed button
8. Enter the Payment details (Card Swipe/ Online Payment/ Net Banking)
9. Submit the application to the University and Generate Covering Letter
10. Resitting Covering Letter and Signed copy of the charge slip (Merchant Copy) is to be retained at Learning
center. LC should be able to produce whenever requested for.
Malpractice Cases
Students who are booked for acts of indiscipline of malpractice during the Examinations will not be considered
for re-sitting papers for such period specified by the Disciplinary Committee.
Re-Sitting Fee
Due to paucity of time and quicker approval of applications, the payment against the applications for
special resitting will be accepted only Card Swipe, Online Payment and Net Banking mode. Since the time
required realizing payment through DD is longer, keeping students interest in mind, we are unable to
consider this payment mode. Request all to comply.
The resitting fee is revised for Special Resitting w.e.f. Fall 2013 session.
a) Re-sitting fee for all students is:
Fee per paper : Rs.450/-
b) Re-sitting fee for Practical papers of BScBT ( Revised Spring 2007 ) and MScBT : Rs 500/-
