AQUA PU ANTI-SKID
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A two-component acrylic aliphatic polyurethane coating with Anti-Skid
polymer incorporated, designed to provide excellent weathering
resistance for longer colour and shade retention. Exhibits excellent UV
resistance, skid resistance, water resistance and recoatability.

POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS Aqua PU Anti-Skid is suitable for use in both new construction and as a
maintenance coating which can be used in a wide variety of environments
including offshore structures, chemical and petrochemical plants,
bridges, pulp and paper mills, and in the power industry.

* Surface should be clean and dry prior to overcoating. If Aqua PU has been exposed for long periods,
fresh water washing should be conducted before application of any coatings.

SURFACE PREPARATION All surfaces to be coated shall be dry and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt
and any foreign matter that can adversely affect adhesion of coating.
Solvent cleaning as per SSPC SP1 shall be conducted wherever
necessary.

MIXING Aqua PU is supplied in 2 parts. Always mix liquid (Part B) into the liquid
(Part A) while stirring. 75-100 RPM mixer is recommended. Material should
be screened prior to application.

THINNING Not recommended

AIRLESS SPRAY Recommended.

Tip range: 0.43-0.53 mm (17-21 Thou)
Remove filters from the spray equipment to avoid blockages

CONVENTIONAL SPRAY Recommended. Do not exceed spray pressure than 4 Kg/cm2. Remove
filters from the spray equipment to avoid blockages.

BRUSH / ROLLER Recommended to use roller and brush.

IDEAL AMBIENT Air Temperature 5-55 C

CONDITIONS Substrate Temperature 5-65 C
Relative Humidity 50% minimum
85% maximum
Surface temperature shall always be at least 3C above Dew Point. Do not
expose the coated articles where there are chances of condensation on
the surface.

Packing Size = 16 liters

Smaller pack sizes are available upon request

Shelf Life: 1 year from the date of manufacturing
